A little. I was thinking more along the lines of punched him in the back, but I suppose that works :)

Unfortunately... she hadn't worn a night mask as well. All of a sudden, there was a bright flash, and it seemed almost as if the sun had come back up – perhaps even a bit brighter than that. Grumpily, she threw her sleeping bag over her eyes, but even though it was thick she could still see the light streaming through. She waited about five minutes, then realized whatever it was causing the light wouldn't let off.

You obviously haven't had enough practice sleeping in the day. Nocturnal is the way to go :)

I would like to extend a warning to all innocents: contacting me ASAP would be a good idea. If someone would claim Jas' resurrection(privately, if you would prefer) that would speed things along.

I worked nights for about a month. D: This was super-bright light that not even the most nocturnal of animals could have slept through!

Labyrinth, Day 12 --
Party 1:
Soon, everyone popped into the labyrinth. After a few minutes of blinking their eyes to get used to the sudden dimness, the party Erwit had come in with looked towards her.
“O wise and glorious Erwit,” Christopher said, “we want you to choose where we go today!”
Erwit Mayesti blinked, then shrugged. “Whatever,” she mumbled, and then started whirling around in circles. It seemed like a good idea to her – until she fell on her bottom, again.
“Umph,” she grunted, and then looked at the direction her finger was pointed. When she saw it was pointed at the strange beast who was now in the middle of a roar, she jerked her finger back and shuddered. “You're, ah, going that way, I guess. Good luck?” She said, and then poofed away to the other party.
Pixa rolled his eyes and began moving forward. Everyone else followed, a little more hesitant. It wasn't long before they could see the beast up close. And then they realized what it was.
It was a Sphinx – one of the largest they had ever seen. (Well, duh. I doubt many of you have ever seen a living Sphinx.) Indeed, she seemed to be blocking something – the path they would need to take to get to the maze.
The Sphinx yawned and lowered her head, looking at each of them in the eye.

“You've all read Harry Potter, right?
Then you know the rules.
A riddle I'll tell to you this night.
If you wish to get to your little campstools,
Then the answer must be right.
Should the answer be wrong and ye be fools,
Then into my stomach you'll go in a mite,
Yet if instead you lose your cools,
and run off in a test of fright,
Then safe you'll be, but as in whirlpools:
Never forward you may sight,
Yet living still, and not yet ghouls.”

Nobody said anything in response to the poem. After a minute or so, Chipper coughed lightly. “Could you tell us the riddle, please?”
The Sphinx nodded lazily as her mouth formed the words.

“To a word of consent, add one half of a fright,
Next subjoin what you never held in the night,
These rightly connected, you will obtain,
What numbers have seen, but will ne'er see again.

Party 2
“We wish to go south today!” Jasujo told Erwit Mayesti firmly.
Erwit looked toward the south. A hedge lay there. “Er, well. I think I misread the map wrong earlier, but I know what you mean. We go west first, and then it's the south you were telling me to go...”
So they chastised Erwit for not knowing how to read a map, then walked to the west – then the south they wanted to go. After awhile, the path turned east again, and Erwit stopped them.
“Wait,” she said carefully. “Don't move, there's another trap around here, I think--”
Syrill had not stopped when the others had, and stepped on the stone that had let loose the arrows before. Another volley flew out, and everyone ducked – but it still got them. Nobody was seriously hurt though, and they wanted to stop, but Erwit Mayesti reminded them they had to keep going.
Of course, unless they wanted to send scouts, there were really two options – to go back where they came from, or to turn south once more.
“South,” Urthdigger decided quickly.
So they moved south once again... turning west as the path did. And then south once more, until Erwit Mayesti stopped them once more. Everyone quickly stopped Syrill, thinking he would set up another trap, but Erwit Mayesti just hushed them.
“Listen,” she whispered.
Everyone listened. Sure enough, they heard the rumblings of the beast in front of them.
“I, er, kind of left the other group in a tight spot up there. Perhaps you should send scouts and see if they're alright?”
Everyone grumbled, but finally consented.

Arrows have flown through the maze and have reduced everyone in party 2's shield by 5%.

Party 2 movements:
Send Scouts
Go Back

Eww to the monsters that ate us I guess or whatever it was that I skimmed through

Vote: Christopher
Just a random vote since nobody has voted as of yet. :O Christopher is merely a Christopher I guess, unless some random revelation happened that I skimmed over. :O Then, whoopsies.

Send Scouts
I don't think I'd be a very good scout since mostly I'm just running in and out of the game. XD

Well, for one thing, that would be the easiest way to prove that I'm still innocent.

I'll volunteer to scout to if we need a second person to go. I also don't understand why people aren't voting for someone who has admitted to being a baddie.
