*sigh* I've never missed a day of AC in past couple years, and now this.... it seems really unfair, both who those who clicked collect earlier and to those who only get to log in a few sepcific hours a day

I'm surprised at the prices in the secondary market on yesterdays stuff. Are they really rare because of the glitch or is it just speculation?

I'm guessing they became rare because of the glitch, a lot of people couldn't get them

Well, I tried to claim them this morning so I wasn't able to get anything today. It stinks, but I guess neither of them were wearable or super cute or anything? Although the plushie is okay.

Nope, neither of them does anything besides sit there and (apparently) be rare and expensive. I feel bad, because my kids both tried to collect while it was glitched (kids! no patience!!), but I checked here first and knew to hold off, so I have the prizes but neither of my kids do. If the prices were less insane, I'd buy extras for them, but...

Actually the slingshot is a battledome weapon, a very crappy one at that

It does 3 air and 2 light icons (no fractionals), according to the battlepedia

So once they figure out how bad the weapon is, only collectors will be wanting it, thus prices will surely go down (me thinks)

That's not the only condition for the sidebar, because I don't have the sidebar and at least 2 years I made sure to collect every day. We'll see if I get it this year. I was going to try to play a winter game every day, but that didn't happen. I'll probably try to play every winter game before the 25th, just in case one of them plus the "collect AC everyday" is the requirement. I agree that if it thinks we collected them, it should count. Too bad they didn't give the items again today -- there would have been a few who got doubles, but far more who would have just gotten firsts.

Try also having some kind of "snowflake" item in your inventory this month. I vaguely recall reading somewhere in one theory for getting the sidebar. I had one in my inventory the year I got the sidebar.

I agree it's too bad TNT haven't somehow given the items to those of us who were glitched. I have every AC item since Y7, except these two. I don't really want to spend 80k + 40k to get both items, just to toss them in my SDB (which is where they'd wind up forever). Sadly, I could have bought them last night, but remember thinking, "7.5k? Nah, as more of them get released the price will go down. I'll get them tomorrow." Boy was I wrong

yea i think that's just crappy that tnt didnt somehow give us our gift. I mean it registered we already where there so why not just slide it into our inventory *sigh*.


Anyhow when i got the sidebar I know i collected everyday and had a few snowflakes/snowballs in my inventory since it was a theory (or did TNT say something in the editorial/news?) anyhow yea i got it and that's all i remember doing!
