I got...

-some clothing!

Clothing: Most notable a The Joker t-shirt

Books: Several

Games: Final Fantasy Tactics A2

DVDs: a few Brit comedy ones, smurf Emery, the Goodies

Music: The Who

Alcohol: Two random English beers, desert wine, Limoncello (this limoncello ranks above the craptastic NZ Lemon-Z, and bellow the one from duty free)

Clothes/footwear-wise I got a t-shirt from Brother 2(http://www.topatoco.com/graphics/000000 ... -shirt.gif) (sorry Christopher); a pair of pyjamas (so I shan't be sleeping in jogging bottoms and an old t-shirt anymore); a pair of slippers & a pair of black knee boots (which I'm a bit unsure about, but I haven't worn them with an outfit or owt yet so we'll see.)

I only got 4 books this year! Brother 1 got me the latest edition of moomin comic strips; my flatmate gave me the moomins paperback we found in a charity shop months ago; my dad gave me the most recent Adrian Mole book and a book of a Telegraph cartoonist.

1 DVD Boxset, which was House Season 4, no surprises there, heh.

I got a weird valentine's teddy bear from an elderly family friend... my flatmate gave me one of those teddies that are kind of ugly but in a good way (:P) & mum gave each of us a small toy animal that makes a noise when you press it. Mine is a cat.

Also some posh cosmetics- bath oil, Chantecaille lipstick & Khiel's lip balm. And Brother 2 also gave me some marzipan chocolate & I got some more marzipan chocolates off someone else. A hot water bottle with a knitted cover (skull & crossbones, heh) and a keyring watch from my friend Elly, which was extra good because she remembered I hate to wear wristwatches.

I was pretty happy! I've got a couple of presents still coming- one which may be lost in the post :/ - so that's quite exciting.

Less good was my guinea pig getting poorly on Christmas eve. I am hoping he'll get better...

I got a new camera, some books, dvds... specifically books and dvd's on art/art history. Mmm... and I hope to be going out and buying myself a tablet. Merry Christmas me!

Hm. I've only gotten some of my presents...that's what happens when your family is split and your in laws are coming down.

So far, I've gotten:
-Awesome NC items and nice candles from averly
-A shiatsu foot massager from my dad
-A shiatsu back massager and some collectible My Little Ponies from my husband

I had a wonderful Christmas and received some awesome gifts!

- Sony Cybershot (my parents can't get over how small the cameras are now)
- PJs
- A few sweaters
- Pictures for my house
- Candy

- Black pumps
- Christmas decorations for next year!
- 3D jigsaw puzzles
- Gag gift: a tshirt I got from camp about 12 years ago. No joke. My parents are the ultimate re-gifters.

Unless you count the chocolates given to me by a hotel guest.

Wheeeee for not only spending Christmas in another state and not seeing your parents til 2009 (which is when I'm getting my presents), but for having to be the single person working on Christmas Day to make sure the hotel doesn't burn down.

I should add I got Two Fat Ladies (the cooking show) on DVD. And after watching them lard a monk fish with anchovies, I must admit, I feel a lot better about simply eating a turkey dinner.
My god. No wonder they were fat. But hillarious. I was bitterly dissapointed when the one died.

Ahh now she's pouring hot oiled tomatoes over the monk fish. I love it.

In all seriousness, there was only one thing I wanted this year. Just a Chicago Blackhawks jersey. If they beat the Flyers tomorrow, that's the other half of it. I also got some nice clothes and some workout gear. And some spending money for my trips to Ontario and Perú this spring.

He's got something wrong with his eye. It's either an ulcer on his cornea or a tumour... either way it's red and sore and swollen & I'm giving him antibiotic eye drops 3 times a day and taking him back for a follow up on monday.

Christmas was pretty good this year!

Books: A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini and Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World by Vicky Myron

DVDs: The second season of Heroes

CDs: Greatest Hits by Boston, Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin (duh), and The Song Remains the Same by Led Zeppelin

Clothing and Jewelry: A new winter-ish shirt that I'm not sure if I like, a new Boston Red Sox shirt that says "WICKED BIG SOX FAN", a pair of blue opal earrings, a new bronze watch, and a necklace/earring set with butterflies.

Miscellaneous Stuffage: Three gift cards to Sephora, one gift card to Macy's, one gift card to Gap, one gift card to Banana Republic, one gift card to Victoria's Secret, a set of Cosmedicine products (<3), and loads of candy and other small things that I don't remember.

Clothing; a pair of pajamas with penguins on them. Heck yes. 8D And...other things I won't go into. XD
Jewerly; tons of that. Bracelets and earrings.
Makeup; tons of that also. Mainly eyeshadow. Some mascara too.
Other stuff; $25 Wal-Mart giftcard, a Mini Robosapien (he's like Robosapien, only MINI. He only walks though.

BUT HE'S CUTE. :O), and an MP3 player that I was able to get to mount on Linux, but then it went and unmounted itself.
Got like one hundred something songs on it already. XD

And a bunch of other stuff I can't remember because I fail like that. XD

EDIT - I take it back.
I've got it mounted, and now I'm putting Kym songs on there. 8D

EDIT II - I just killed it.

So you just went up like 12 slots in my book, which Ponies did you get? I got the 25'th Birthday Anniversary ones.

My mom and I used to love watching that show, they were so much fun.

Thats always the worst part of being away from home, but at least you'll have an extra special New Years.

I got everything I wanted this year!

Pajama set with matching slippers
A new leather backpack (the one strap laptop one's)
Dark, straight fit jeans

As you can see, I didn't ask for much this year except for those gifts. So I'm happy!
