Best I-Wanna-Cry Song: Crystal Shawanda's "You Can Let Go" (it's hard to drive when I hear this one)
Best I Love You Song: Julianne Hough's "That Song in my Head" (I hate the overly sentimental ones, and this is the only one I can remember that I kind of enjoyed)
Best I Hate You So Much! Song: Taylor Swift's "Picture to Burn" (not really a great one, but I can't think of any great ones that were released this year -- nothing like Underwood's "Before He Cheats")
Best Feel Good Song: Shinedown's (okay, really Lynyrd Skynyrd's) "Simple Man"
The OMG-If-I-Hear-This-Song-On-The-Radio-Again-I'll-Kill-A-Cat Song: Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" (seriously, when you're still playing it in late November, it's just time to stop), followed closely by Taylor Swift's "Love Story"
Worst Video: Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl"
Most Detestable Artist: Katy Perry (too bad the song's so catchy)
Overall Grade: C

Honestly, I can't really remember that many songs that came out this year. Maybe it's just because I have a bad memory and only listen to music while driving (which I only spend ~1 hour doing per week). And I haven't really found an awesome radio station here in Atlanta, so I spend more time flipping stations than listening to any particular one.

Same here. It's funny, she got attacked by homophobes and gay people alike for that song. But I don't think she's actually bi -- she didn't even kiss a girl in the video...

Oh, I read a number of things saying she said she wasn't (but without direct quotes) -- and I really didn't want to spend more time looking it up.

Back on topic, I see by everyone else's lists that I need to listen to the radio more. I think I've heard "Love Remains the Same," but I can't think how it goes -- which I guess makes it a "good but forgettable" one for me.

Most Detestable Band: Nickelback. They will continue to be The Most Detestable band until they split up or God smites them all with a thunderbolt.
Worst Song: Buckcherry - I'm Sorry. They SHOULD be sorry. This song is dreadful.
I did waste my time and money on (CD's/Records/Etc...): I illegally dl all my music, lawl.
Glad I didn't waste my time and money on (CD's/Records/Concerts/Etc...): Was dragged to see Motion City Soundtrack. They were mediocre and repetetive, but it wasn't TOO bad, as Margot and the Nuclear So-And-So's were there.
What were they thinking? (Events/Albums/etc...): WHAT WERE THEY THINKING GIVING TAYLOR SWIFT A RECORD DEAL? I MEAN, HONESTLY!
