Dear PPT Friends...
As it seems to be more definite now, I figured I should share what's happening in my life this week.
Monday, my husband and I went in for our first appoitment with the OBGYN. I was feeling the normal symptoms of pregnancy, so we were excited and expecting to get a first glimpse at our little 9 week old. When we got in, they informed us that the baby should be 10 or 11 weeks along. All the better, we thought.
The visit was normal until the ultrasound. The doctor couldn't find a heartbeat and said the baby looked like it was more like 7 weeks along. Impossible since my positive pregnancy test was 8 weeks ago. So, she sent us down to the better machines to get another one. Still no heartbeat. A sign of miscarriage. It made no sense! How could I have miscarried? I've had no symptoms! So we had to wait until today to have another one.
We went in this morning and had another one done...still no heartbeat. And now it looks like it's 6 weeks along and the sac was "deformed," indicating imminent miscarriage. We had some blood tests done. (Still no word on those.) Monday, I have to go back in for more bloodwork and one more look-see and then we'll go from there.
We're devastated...to say the least. Unexpected on all accounts. I've still had no symptoms of a miscarriage. I'm thinking I may have to have some sort of procedure because normally a miscarriage should occur 1-2 weeks after the baby has died and it's been 3 by my count and 5 by theirs. However, there has been no talk of any such procedure and we'll have to just wait and see what the doctor says on Monday. I'll keep you posted...

I know what we say on here may not make a difference to how you feel, but I am extremely sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how you feel.
I am so sorry, once again, for both you and your husbamd.

I'm so sorry for your loss Pink. Although I myself haven't been through this, some of my family members have been, so I know somewhat what it's like. *hugs*
