Yay!! Made 1024 on level 13.
AAA - 1.
Apparently TNT took down the tickets because they were not working correctly. Hopefully TNT will put something in the News.
Just another tidbit to chew on:

Just out of curiosity, did you play on Regular or Hard, Daze? I don't see any advantage to hard mode, but maybe that's because I haven't practiced it enough. I got to 720 on level 8 with 4 lives left, and then lost them all because the last letter-balloon was stuck in the top right corner behind all those blocks.
Oh, and of course Double Dare is TM'ed by Viacom -- they own Nickelodeon, after all. I used to love that show as a kid.

Re: Daily Dare 2009
I played on regular mode.
I restarted the game if I didn't have any doughnutfruits and Xbonus's on the first level.
The game really is about luck. If you can hit the bonus's then the doughnutfruit you can score 100 or more on a level.
I am not a great player, previous best was around 640.
I was up around 800 on level 10 and just scraped in 1024 on level 13.
Tips:
Quickly scan for bonus's and doughnutfruit so you know where to try and bounce the hasee.
Once you know where your bonuses are, just concentrate on keeping the hasee on the seesaw. (I would lose lives because I was trying to aim the hasee at a bonus and miss the seesaw).

Re: Daily Dare 2009
How do you aim your hasee's bounce? I feel like I'm basically just sending my hasees around randomly.

Well, the farther to each side on the seesaw you hit, the more the hasee will fly in that direction...shapu wrote:How do you aim your hasee's bounce? I feel like I'm basically just sending my hasees around randomly.

O. M. G.
I hate Super Hasee Bounce. Even after reading all of your tips I could barely BARELY beat Abigail. Now, stupid me decided to buy the Lulu tickets... and I know I'm in for at least an hour of frustration pinging those stupid Hasees all over the place trying for 150 points.
*bangs head*
Why did I act so frivolous and buy a NC card at the store for the Lulu challenge. I swear, I thought she'd be EASIER to beat than Abigail.
Edited to add: After MUCH trial and error, I discovered that using the mouse for this game is vital. If you use the keyboard, the see-saw moves much slower. The mouse makes catching the falling Hasee much faster. I managed to wrack up over 400 points merely by switching my controls.

I HATE Super Hasee Bounce. Why couldn't they have kept the old one?
I can't even tell what my current score is- where is it displayed?
I'm just sending my Hasees in randomly and trying not to get the letters until I've cleared as much as I can.
I'm going to work this game until I get it - then challenge AAA and send the score. I don't think I want to spend all my hard-earned neocash on a trophy that's not going to get me anywhere.

Re: Daily Dare 2009
Well, after 3 tries of sending my score in, it finally did go. Didn't even try to beat AAA, SHB is just too random for me.
Razamatazamo misses being a Fuzio!

Re: Daily Dare 2009
After a few hours and getting as high as 840, I decided to opt for sanity this year and challenge Abi. DD was not fun last year -- it was stressful and I wasted far too much time playing games I didn't enjoy (or even loathed, in some cases). And what do I have to show for it? Whatever prize I win (or don't win), it's just some pixels and bits. I could probably have gotten Ultimate or Scoretastic if I really wanted to, but the truth is, I don't really want to. I feel so much better. This DD might actually be fun.

Re: Daily Dare 2009
Some people are saying to restart if you don't get 2 or 3 donughtfruit in the first level.
That equates to a score of 100?
Edit: So at what point should I restart a level?
Edit: Got to 530 and tried to see if the score would submit after the 3 regular submissions. It won't, so at least I'll get to wait to be frustrated until tomorrow.
Good luck to everyone still going.

Re: Daily Dare 2009
SHB is such a horrid game. Mainly because it's all luck and it's way too glitchy, which makes it a great deal more annoying than it would have been otherwise.
I've had the following happen to me at least 5 times now:
I'd be playing, everything would be going great, and then, suddenly, for no reason at all, the Hasee would not jump off of the platform. Resulting in ultimate failure and having to start over.

The old one is still on the site too. They're different games, just with the same characters. And your score is at the bottomKatdragon wrote:I HATE Super Hasee Bounce. Why couldn't they have kept the old one?

I guess I'm one of the few people who actually likes super hasee bounce...lol

Re: Daily Dare 2009
I like the game too lol. In terms of getting to the required score quickly, I found hard mode easier for some reason.
Also, I've created a PPT guide http://www.pinkpt.com/daily-dare-2009.htm that supplements this thread as well.
Who here wants a Daily Dare trophy? *raises hand*

Re: Daily Dare 2009
I would only be restarting level 1. If level 1 does not have at least 3 dougnutfruit and the bonuses then restart straight away.Edit: So at what point should I restart a level?

I found the mouse easier to use than the arrow keys.
Heads up:
Daily Dare Board
Challenge tickets are available in the Mall

It seems all the glitches have been worked out.
