Score 1475. After about 50 plays today. Did not register. Grrrrr.

Blue graffitied on my signature... But it made me laugh, so it's all good!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words - that screenshot described exactly what I was trying to say
Thanks Daze
Re: Daily Dare 2009
Finally. It took another 6 games (at least) to get over 1250 again -- and then I got a 1641.
ETA: My strategy is pretty much the same as Daze's.

That's pretty much what I did too. The real trick is in getting the timing down so your button presses actually count.
Though I must say that I tried a few different racers and noticed absolutely no difference in speed...

Re: Daily Dare 2009
Day 17 - Wheeler's Wild Ride
AAA - 400
Prize: Crate of Spilt Coconuts

Abi - 40
Prize: Wheeler and Bike Plushie

Lulu - 50
Prize: Wheelers Coconut Bike

Very easy game - long and boring to get a trophy.
VERY BIG TIP:
At the start of the game, stay on top of the hill and just do nose wheelies (by pressing the right arrow key) a 1 second wheelie is worth 5 points, a 2 second wheelie is worth 10, a 3 second is worth 15 and a 5 second wheelie is worth 20.
You will move backwards but you everytime you put the wheel down you move forward.
Keep an eye on the timer - when you get down to about 4 seconds, deliberately fall over and crash. You only lose 1 coconut and the level restarts. REPEAT.
If you let the timer run out, you will lose almost all your coconuts.

Re: Daily Dare 2009
Heh, this is way easy.
To make things even easier, hit spacebar to turn around, and then push left to do a nose wheelie. The wall will stop you from moving and makes it easier to maintain the wheelie. Also, it'll be a lot faster taking a spill since you can just smash your face into the wall instead of having to tip all the way over.

Beat AAA easily, and decided to keep going. Had a little over 5k when I was done.
Re: Daily Dare 2009
Thanks for the help guys.
Wheeler's ride has been defeated - and I thought it'd be a lot harder.
I bet TNT are cooking up something evil for the Double Dare
Edit: Lulu's bike is kinda cute
I might grab one of those.
Edit 2: Although I might wait until the second-to-last day to see what other lulu prizes are available since I have about 10 tickets (kindly donated from hoopy neopeople).

Yes! THANK YOU so much for the easy-peasey tips! I was practicing yesterday and was devasted that I was only getting a score of 20-90. I thought for sure I was done for! But PPT and all you wonderful people helped me! Love you guys!

Tomorrow is Mynci Beach Volleyball. I've been told that people consider it a hard game, but I don't. Anyway, if you're one of those folks, take the time to practice today. You won't regret it.
Re: Daily Dare 2009
I despise MBV. I would rather chew a lightbulb than have to play that game for any reason.
To be fair, I felt the same way about Wheeler today...

Edit: I just went and played a bit. I guess it depends on how high a score AAA wants.

Re: Daily Dare 2009
Well, I am back at work today (had 3 days off) so I hope the score isn't too demanding, otherwise I will just not have to the time to try for it.
Hmm, my highscore for MBV is 185. May have to chew lightbulbs as well.

Re: Daily Dare 2009
MBV is not really a game I can practice for. Either I am good for a level or I suck all together. I seem to hit a point wall at 200 but could probably press on for 400. I hope AAA's score isn't much higher than that. This is one game I've always accepted I'll never get the avatar for, I hope it doesn't ruin my AAA streak. :/

Re: Daily Dare 2009
I believe they base the scores off the average of some guy they yanked out of marketing and forced to play their half rate games all day long.
EDIT: 250? Looks like Jim didn't make it past the third level.
