New Lutari Island Plot?

The mysterious island of Lutari is currently being pummeled by an unusually large storm! Between the whirlpools, water spouts and lightning it has been advised that no Neopets are allowed to visit its shores. Even the sea life seems to be staying away...

The last time there was a large storm it made a whirlpool over at Maraqua. I think it was Captain Dread or whatever that skeletal kiko pirate's name was. I can't remember the name of his ship. But anyway, his ship had the power or he had the power to make a whirlpool, so maybe he is doing this again. It would be good to revive an old character.

I sure hope this is an upcoming plot (and not just Neopets Mobile circling the bowl).

Are you sure this is new? I almost think that line was always there as a way of saying that Lutari Island is only accessible on Neopets Mobile. Although I wouldn't have any complaints about it being a sign of a new plot!

The weather is apparently stormy everyday, according for the users without Neopets Mobile, as stated on the Lutari Island page. thats why you cant really see it through the fog on neopets.

It could be a sign that TNT will use a plot to open up Lutari Island to all of Neopia.

While I like the new games challenge, at this point Neo is just an arcade for me. I can't wait for the funness of plotdom to return.
