Todays category is "Best news day"

The choices are: April 1st - April Fool's Day, August 5th - Artists Take the Day Off, November 13th - Moltara is revealed! and November 15th - Neopets turns 10!.

I voted for Artists Take the Day Off and got Neopies Winner Envelope.

And more importantly, everyone gets a 100 dubloon coin, I think.

Today's category is....

Best new petpet!

The choices are: Adagio, hoggir, Naleap and Xampher. I picked hoggir because I think it looks stylish and cute and I got Nominee Cookies.

Also, you can get a free one hundred dubloon coin by visiting.

Most likely it has to do with having voted every day, but who knows *shrug*.

Same. I got a Nominee Dart Board instead of a dubloon.

Could account age have anything to do with who got a dubloon? My account's 7 years+, and I received one.

I was disappointed by the choices for best new character. Lulu symbolizes overcommercialization of the site to me; Rosie is just kind of silly, and Captain Arf is... just gross. But the fact that Clara is winning bugs me. In the plot, every time there was a puzzle, the supposedly stupid male solved it while the alleged female genius just made snide remarks... TNT's had some strong female leads in the past, but I really felt Clara was a major step backwards. And that's not even considering the fact that the plot completely stank.

I got a Second Annual Neopies - Whos Who (book) from it today.

IIRC I think the only missed day that I have had was the first day of Second Annual Neopies so the dubloons may have been for those haven't missed a day. Then again it could still have been a random prize and it could also be possible that there were people haven't missed a day who didn't get a dubloon 3 days ago because they visited it after a certain time period on Monday.

I don't believe that age plays a part since like Siniri's my account is also 7+ years old.

The dubloon was just in addition to the daily prize. I wonder if I had skipped dubloon day and come back the next, if I'd have gotten the dubloon still. I suspect so.

I know people who swear they didn't miss a day and didn't get it, so perhaps you had to collect every day and have an older account? Did anyone get a dubloon with a relatively new account? The coins haven't really depreciated, so I'm assuming not too many were given out.

I just got a Golden Paint Brush. I've voted every day and my account is five and a half years old.

A number of people got a golden paintbrush yesterday. I know some who got both the paintbrush and dubloon; however, I did not receive a paintbrush, although I have voted everyday.
