Part 2 of the Festival has kicked off - updating 1st post.

The first clue to Kari's negg hunt is misleading - you do NOT have to do a Brain Tree/Esophagor Quest to get the negg.

Just clicking around Haunted Woods, including the Deserted Fairgrounds and Neovia is enough to get the 1st Striped Negg.

Note that you might find plain plastic neggs as well (which count towards the community challenge) -- make sure you keep clicking until you find the goal negg.

Day 3 negg is found in the NC Mall, refresh if you don't see it.

Claim it and return to Kari.

You also get a bonus Neggstravaganza negg. Go to the Mall and click on the Neggstravaganza link to claim the prize.

If your country does not support the NC Mall, you will get a clue to head to Roo Island.


Day 4 negg is found in Moltara.


If you have collected all 4 neggs, you can now claim your prize for the Striped Neggs -

The weapon is not particularly useful (5 icons: 2 air, 3 earth). I'll probably get the book, plus extra copies from the SW to read to all my pets (and stash in my SDB to sell later).

The 5th Negg (and the 1st of the Polka Dot Neggs) is located in Meridell.

The 6th Negg is located in Neopia Central. Sunny Neo has a list of all the possible places it could be hiding -- I used it after I thought I'd clicked everywhere (I'd missed the Soup Kitchen).

I did manage to find 4 plain neggs in my search. The team challenge is lagging behind where it needs to be. We should be around 1.7M, but we're only at 1.3M. I'm sure Neopia will step up as the deadline looms closer, though.

Yay for prizes! I don't think we'll make the team challenge (I knew we were in trouble on it by the end of the first tier). I'm still trying to decide what to get for the last tier, and whether I want to invest in any of the wearables (already investing in all the books).

Anyone know what that cure does? Not sure if it's worth investing in it...

No idea what the cure does. I did the same - got all of the other books so far.

Quick check on the SW for 3rd tier. They are pretty evenly priced across the four items.
