Today's was a Battle Faerie for 1200 NP. Still haven't used the boon yet, but I wouldn't have sprung for the cookie without it, so... it's already paid for itself, I guess.

Blue, that should have been +2 strength. Earth is actually not bad anymore (though there's a 1/3 chance of getting movement). I plan to only refresh light (because it's only 1 level, vs. the others that give at least 2 stats), air, and anything that asks for something too expensive. And I hope I remember to switch to Chinese before refreshing, because refreshing otherwise could give you Delina.

ETA: Yay, on the third day, the boon just paid off, far more than I'd have won from the Caves. I converted a light faerie quest (+ 1 level) for 4100 into a fire quest (+ 2 strength) for 1 NP (didn't take long for pumpkin lid hats to sink back down). That's a savings of ~4100 + the cost of one training for the extra stat (average = ~14400 for me), for a total savings of 18500.

Remembered to change to Chinese today (not so much yesterday).

I didn't trade in today's earth faerie quest because it was only 176 NP, and there was only a 1/3 chance of movement -- I didn't want to change and get air or light. But alas, I did get movement from it. Yesterday's still makes up for it.

Sounds like the refresh option is going well for you two!

I've actually done pretty well on the caves so far. Had one day that was less than 1k, but the others have all been in the 1700-2k range, plus one day I got 5k even. Still 2 days left, hoping for one of the really good prizes!

I've traded in 3 quests so far: light for fire, air for earth (which still gave me movement), and air for air (which still gave me movement...). Each new quest was considerably cheaper than the old one, and the total savings so far has been 29.7k (including the cost of 1 training saved by trading light for faerie).

Out of 9 quests so far, 1/3 have been air and another 2/9 have been earth that gave movement. And those have been the last 5 quests in a row. *sigh*

I usually find the treasure in the Faerie Caves 3-4 days/week. Ironically, I haven't found it yet this week. Still, even assuming 2k/day + 1 day of 5k, I'm coming out ahead.

Today was Dark Faerie quest. 6,800NP Ice Blocks for +2 HP.

Faerie Caverns didn't really offer much until the last day, where I got 10,000nps.

The Premium Boon of using the scratchcards seemed to be glitched for a few of us, with none or very, very little nps being rewarded.

I am likely going with the Brutes.

People seem mixed about whether the Awakened or Brutes are more likely to win. I like the Brutes better, but I want to pick the winning team. I'll wait until there's more of a consensus.

I used up my cookie today, and was so sad when I couldn't exchange today's air faerie quest. Final stats on the refresh remain as above; I didn't trade in yesterday's water quest because my defense was lagging anyway. I tried playing some clicky games yesterday hoping for a random FQ, but to no avail. Here are my stats on the cookie (if I hadn't had the refresh):

So fully half gave me movement, and 1 only gave me one stat (light). I traded in 2 of the air and the 1 light, and got the same amount of movement and 2 strength (instead of the 1 level). At least I finally got the battle faerie. Do I just have crappy luck, or are fully half of faerie quests supposed to give movement (it was more than half when you include the refreshes)? I did get 6 strength, 4 defense, and 2 HP from the cookie + boon for a total of 7300 NP, which isn't bad. I'm not sure I'll do this one again, though -- I may want to save my NC for something else (maybe a lab ray cookie, though I'm not sure it's worth 125NC, or just for one of this summer's new items).

I'm torn, though more likely to side with the Brutes as I came close to joining them to begin with. I mean, technically, my battle pet "qualifies" as a brute, I think?

I think you just got unusual movement luck on that particular cookie. I've had cookies that have done that. But overall, Movement is actually one of my lowest gained stats.
Of the cookies I've used, I've averaged (per cookie, keeping in mind I apparently only did 6 quests on one cookie instead of :

Edit: I joined the Brutes. I decided I didn't want to wait and chance forgetting to join a team, and they are my favorite of the three, so...I joined 'em.

I did the same thing, Pickles -- I was scared I'd forget to pick, and it didn't seem likely I'd change my mind. My luck with the cookie matched my luck during the Faerie Festival. Then again, I've gotten at least 20 levels from scratchcards, and not a one of them has gone to my battle pet, not even when I only had 3 pets. The odds of that are likewise ridiculously low (0.03 to 0.3%, perhaps even lower than my bad faerie luck).

I also joined the lemming, er. Brute Squad. Like Siniri & Pickles, there is every likelihood that I too would forget to join a faction.

Is it just me, or are Lanie and Lillie and The Duchess MUCH easier "bosses" than some of the others? Not complaining, as I OHKO them, but I guess I got used to Lambert and his ridiculous I'm gonna Lens Flare or Warlock's Rage 4 times in a row...

I wouldn't know, because all the "bosses" tend to outright KO me in a single round of combat. My battling "prowess" needs some updating.

Joined brute squad for this round simply because everyone else will, so hopefully they'll get the win. I'm sad that I forgot about the previous skirmish, I would have joined the order so I've missed out on their avvy/site theme.

Definitely noticed this as well.

I have 600 wins against Lanie and Lillie and 200 against the Duchess and they were all 1 hit wins. No spamming of abilites at all.
