No one else had made a topic...so here we go. I can guarantee I won't have time to edit every prize in, etc, but...Daily Dare 2013 is upon us. AAA apparently forgot about it, so some slick Zafara, Chadley, is taking his place.

BTW. The first game? It's Jolly Jugglers. I loathe it even more than I used to...but I finally got Chadley's score. Strongly recommend the method presented in JN's GUIDE if you can't get the score you need before level 7. That, and they have maps of each level.

Well, it was supposed to happen in March....and it's now almost August?

TNT delayed the DD due to the Obelisk War and ongoing skirmishes. It is funny (or by design?) that it now starts when the last skirmish team has won.

Bleh! Jolly Jugglers. My high score is 266. I hate having a hard game right off the bat. Silver Trophy is so easy to go for, but gold seems so far away.




There are four trophy levels this year for Daily Dare:
Gold – Beat Chadley at each challenge.
Silver – Complete all challenges before the end of Daily Dare, beating Chadley at least once.
Bronze – Beat Abigail at each challenge.
Participant – Beat or match at least one Chadley or Abigail score by the end of the event.
Whether or not you participate every day does not play into the trophy tiers.

Ugh. I wasn't sure after the first game (300-something), but in my second game, I deliberately fell and let the enemies regenerate as often as they would to maximize my score, and I also paid attention to whom had less shield left when I knew I was likely to take damage (those pesky Drackonack quadruplets). I eked by with a 701. (By the way, I have never reached the end of level 7 in this game, much less had extra lives left. I didn't even know there was a boss.)

P.S. The code magicjugglingballs for an extra life would have helped. A lot.

Oh, I know. TNT did come out and state that DD was delayed because of the War at some point. However, it doesn't seem like the skirmishes are over. I think it was pure coincidence that all of the teams how now won. Snarkie was posting about having worked 2 14-hour days on her twitter last week, so I'm guessing she was helping with the last bit of prep for DD?
I think the best I'd done before today was like...the beginning of level 5 (with a score of like, 240...for some previous DD or GMC event, I'm sure). Pretty sure I couldn't make it past the Drackonack and Tenna mass of doom at the beginning of the level...
Yeah. That would've. At least, on my first try. My second try, I took it slower (uuugh), and had a lot less trouble with the whole dying thing.


Please, TNT, I'm begging you. No more super long games. I'm not sure I can sit in front of my computer screen long enough for them right now without getting nauseated!

My high score in the game is 771. I have no idea when or how. I have no desire to play that game again, unless I must. It's nearly as bad as Hotdog Hero. Or that Area 54(?) game. Or... those games so horrendous my brain is not even letting me remember them! 21 days isn't too bad. The team challenges can be a bit stressful, but I remember the scores were fairly low last year. Here's hoping...

Thanks goodness that "day of" isn't a factor. I need to keep up, though, lest it get away from me. Not sure if I want to go for the gold. Like Daze said, Silver will be "easy"... :/

There are "bonus" prizes if you complete the challenge on the day of - that's the only difference.

Probably not. It's a 6 icon weapon. Meh.

Just to make sure I was clear, the bonus item is the one that's the 6 icon weapon. Chadley's prize is a wearable. Kinda amusing wearable, but yeah.

Considering it is 8pm and I am in an Arizona Waffle House, is not likely I will be beating Chadley tonight
