Hmm.. Gloat: I achieved Silver in this year's DD... Just like last year and the year before. I'm happy. That silly gold trophy would have looked so out of place!

But yeah, the Healing Faerie has been a pain about healing sick pets lately. My labbie is still sick from like, 3 days ago. Of course, every time I've gone, she's given me some sort of potion instead of healing my labbie. Ah well.

I had to post something... Siniri would soon be up to ETAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA in no time.

Gloat: Made it back to a pretty number in my amount in my bank. Not quite back to where I was before I started buying battledome weapons like crazy (okay, it was 3 major ones, but still), but I'm happy with my bank account. Maybe I'll start training again. Maybe.

ETA: Healing faerie finally healed my sick pet, woot!

Aww Blue. It is sad but we know you tried your best.

Two years ago, I lost everything on my desktop hard-drive, it didn't contain any 'real' important stuff, but it did have the first 8 years of Neopets in screenies.

I just won a Pirate Krawk Morphing Potion from the Forgotten Shore! And I forgot to place my bids in Food Club today (there was a dark horse winner, so I'd have lost over 80k had I made my planned bids). Not bad for a single day.

Just picked up Chickaroo from the WoE

9/13: Got blasted by Snowie and couldn't battle, so I tried my hand at the healing springs and wheels. Forgot to change my active to my battle pet, so the wrong one was fully healed. Then I won a 2.4k book that fits my beach gallery theme, and 2.5k pure. Wonderful spins -- just not what I wanted!

ETA: So I healed her with a healing potion vi, then fought the Koi Warrior until I got all my battling NP for the day. Then I switched to the Slug Monster, which gives books instead of worthless plushies. But my KBT + Gbomb didn't defeat it in the first round, because I apparently accidentally fought on mighty instead of regular. I did win the battle, but of course now she has watery eyes. Please, healing springs, work this time!

And after my 2nd visit to the springs, I took her back into battle, only to discover that on the previous win, she'd hit the prize cap for the day. Ah, well, she's healed for tomorrow.

9/15: Just won 20k from the WoE. The light faerie was correct for once: "Wow, what a spectacular prize!" (Ha! That just made my average win/spin jump by a ton. I've been tracking wheel results since the boon came out the first time, but I had to reset my WoE one because I accidentally typed in the result space and then saved without realizing what I'd done. In 138 spins, the average was ~201 NP/spin net; now it's at 384. I'm hoping to write a NT article for each wheel once they hit 1k spins, or whenever their average seems to settle.)

LOL, For me today the light faerie also exclaimed, "Wow, what a spectacular prize!" for my "win" of 301 NP. It's only a loss of 199 NP

On the plus side, my pet was healed from Chickaroo by the Water Faerie

I wish the healing springs worked in real life. My inconsiderate housemate doesn't know how to cover his coughs and sneezes, and he gave me his cold. Ugh. I hope I don't get as sick as he's been. He should buy me cold medicine.

Nothing to gloat or cry about, but I just had to say: Wow on your statistical collecting abilities Siniri.

I don't spin the WoE anymore, but if in the long run I can make a profit, I think I might.

Maybe I do have a something to cry about.....I still need the WoEx and WoK avies. I must have spent over 2 mill on the WoEx and I am too broke now to try anymore. The WoK I spin everyday and the majority of the time I get the site hint. Grrrr.

9/17 update: The WoE Lava Ghoul blasted my pets with fire.

ETA: Healing Faerie finally came through - no more Chickaroo

A big cry and rant: I can't get any shockwave games to load. One upon a time I could, as I have scores on all of them, but now the error message basically says it is the 'authors' fault, which I presume is Neopets.

I have a fairly decent Gourment Club Bowls score and could get a trophy on the 1st. I have tried the workarounds but nothing helps.

Sigh! I just wish all of Neo would run properly at the same time.

Daze, have you tried loading an old version of Shockwave? That's the only thing that I've heard that's consistently worked for people.

Gloat: The symol hole really paid off tonight -- but only because the Battle Faerie decided to show up there. Less than 2.5k per stat? Yes, please, and thank you! Especially since the lab had taken away 4 strength this week and it was back down to exactly 750 -- I like having a little buffer.

ETA: Nothing so far has worked. Haven't had any luck with older versions.

I have a few more options to try, but will probably try on the weekend when my daughter is home, as she is more computer savvy with problem programmes.



ETA2: HAPPY DANCE

YAY! I got it to work in Safari. I don't know what actually did it, but I:

1. Downloaded old version (wouldn't work)
2. Re-installed (but left old version there)
3. Changed the Shockwave settings to open with Direct X7.

Then it opened!!!


I had tried all of these things on all browsers, but not all at once. Maybe (just maybe) it was a combination of all of it.

Now I just got to remember how to play!!
