Sorry to sound like an idiot, but does anyone happen to know the name of an unhatched pteri and/or a ruki? I went away for a bit, and came back to find all these new avs...

I know this has been discussed before... but what's the format for a 'quick adopt' link? Also, is there one that would tell you price of the pet, without adopting it?

Here's what it says about that in the FAQ:

General Neopets:
Q: How can I tell how much my pet’s worth?
A: http://neopets.com/process_adopt.phtml? ... ETNAMEHERE.
Replace PETNAMEHERE with your pet’s name. It is case sensitive, and only works when you have less than 3 pets and no neopoints out.

Been trying to get the drackonack av for quite some time already. The draconack just won't eat the cheese. Can somebody help me?

What I ended up doing was having 3 pieces of cheese and the drackonack in my inventory. Nothing else at all. With that, it still took about 45 minutes.

You could always buy as much cheese as possible, and resell the extras once he finally eats one.

When I did it, I had 9 cheeses and one drackonack and it only took a few minutes... I think it likes a certain type of cheese too, but the exact name escapes me at the moment. Good Luck.
