I still need pieces 8 and 9, thanks to the event kicking off after I had to leave for work. I presume many are in the same boat as me, so I hope there's at least one more day left for this.

Today's morning quest: 1 pirate hook candy cane, 2 peach snowballs, 3 ubikiberry elixirs. Easy peasy, all in the SDB.

I like books and don't really care about backgrounds, so this decides me for each individually.

Customization has been broken for me for months (hence my two naked pets), and I know that book is going to be exceedingly rare if most go for the background (which is nice and all, but not really my cuppa when it comes to customization, anyway...), and the backgrounds won't actually disappear like the books will... Decisions, decisions...

Not that I have to make any anytime soon; I just finished my penultimate task (1 pink snorkle usuki set, 2 yellow snowballs, 3 evil snowballs), but I can't do the next one until 10:02 am tomorrow -- which actually means more like 10:00pm by the time I get to a computer.

I can't decide. I promised to help again and got a countdown to the next step -- a bit over 66 hours from this post. The current step might end a bit before that, though -- TNT does like a bit of buffer between them, usually.

Anyway, I know I've got until at least tomorrow to pick, and I'm much too tired to choose now. I'm assuming prices haven't stabilized on either the background or book yet.

I got the three individual ones...because I bought a background for 175k (this may or may not be a good deal in the long run, but eh, it's better than it could have been, and I did want to have all the prizes just for posterity's sake). Seems like both the background and book are going for at least 200k, though the book seems to be tending to be more.

Time to wait for the next step, tally-ho.

Do we know for sure this step ends today (and what time)? I have 2 of three completed with 2 pieces of the last one to go. I can get another piece at 5:41pm NST today. I have not clicked "build" for either of the two yet. However, I probably should if there's zero chance of doing the "build all"...

I wish I had a good answer for you on this, Blue.
I'm seeing two possibilities on the boards - either it ends today at midnight (since the NC portion does), or it ends at 2pm NST on Wednesday (2nd), when the timer finishes counting down. No one really knows for sure, unfortunately.

Maybe you'll be lucky and get a very short timer for your last one?

Thanks, Pickles. If I get a short timer on the next one, I'll be OK. If I get a long timer, then I should have a legitimate gripe if the step ends before the time does... However, if the overall timer isn't done until Wednesday, I should think I'd be OK until then... Looks like I may find out :/

I think I'll do the same. One of the two I have completed is for the book. Even if it ends tonight, I'll at least have the book.

@Pickles - 175k was a good deal (for now), the backgrounds are up to 250+ now. Book is around 400k.

ETA: as of 8am 4/1/14, you can still work on the items. I just finished my last one, got the petpet, jacket and avatar

Now to decide if I want the background... hmmmm.
