Neopets Gloats and Cries [Split 2]

Nothing seems to make a Neopet feel better than a soft little plushie, and *petname* is no exception. He is looking better already.

My lab pet was actually sick from the Expellibox, so that was a nice surprise!


And sheesh, siniri, that is a lot of free NPs! Every time I get one of the ones that gives you nps, it's always under 1k.

My battle pet has reached 900 HP! I've only rarely been buying codestones (and I'm not zapping right now, to take advantage of paying only 2 reds for as long as possible), so it's been a long, slow haul. Only 300 to go until I can start zapping again...

Cry: My gallery somehow has over 80 items that need to be sorted again. It's because I've received a lot of free items for it, but I really hate organizing the blasted thing. *sigh* I really need to dedicate some time to learning NeoHTML and submitting the blasted thing for the spotlight already.

Cry: Having no luck with monthly tournaments this month. Sigh. For that matter, I didn't have any luck with them last month, either. Keep getting stuck up against people who move once every 24 ish hours, let me do 2 move or loses in the allotted time but never the "I win" options.

Gloat?: Two of my pets are exactly 5000 days old today. Apparently I missed the other two's 5000th days in the last few weeks.

Gloat: I won over 950k (112:10) in Food Club today.

Bigger gloat: I just achieved a new round number in my bank account. (I've been close to it for days, and now I'm far enough past it that even a few-day Food Club losing streak shouldn't put me below it.)

Had some good luck in dailies today:



Won a Pirate Petpet Paint Brush at Anchor Management,
20,000 nps on Treasure of the Black Pawkeet, and
5,000 NP and a Mallard on the Fruit Machine.

That's some insane good luck there, Daze.

I got a perfect score in Splat-a-Sloth yesterday -- and made it to 18th in the high score table by the end of the day. Which is one off from bronze, which means I'll probably skip right out of trophy range by the end of today. *sigh* Can you get back on the high score table in the same month if you didn't get a trophy? Or are you just screwed? (I'm also on the Neopian Battlefield Legends high score list, hoping for a trophy upgrade, and I'm sitting at 31 there -- and that list is moving more slowly.)

Awww Siniri, unfortunately you can't enter the high score table again in the same month.

* I don't know if you use the 'trick' for getting 500 more easily, but it certainly help me get my gold trophy almost straight away.

As soon as the game loads, hit the space bar. It may take quite a few attempts, but eventually you will hit the sock as soon as it appears. I managed to get my trophy on reset day, so that might be the best day to try for a trophy even with a 500 score.


Congrats on your good luck Blue. Those dailes can get boring without a decent win every now and then.


More good news for me, I finally knocked down a coconut for that avatar, and also got a Hairy Evil Coconut which I sold for a quick 99,999 nps.
I also had a very good week feeding kads, up to 51 now. But have slowed right down with only 7 kads available.

On the down side, I am in the same boat with Pickles, with the monthly tournament. I lost my 1st Armada game to making a stupid move on the last couple of moves available (I should have won).

I won my Geos by 'move or lose', and had a long drawn out Kacheekers game that I had to send 2 'move or lose' messages, but the person kept moving once or twice, the game ended before we could finish it. And now there is no other games for the month. Sigh!

I'm at 10 and 26 in the two high score tables. Of course, it's now peak play time, so I'm not holding my breath on Splat-a-Sloth, but it'll be nice if it happens.

Cry: I forgot to make my Food Club bets today (had them all picked out, but apparently never actually bought them, which is quite weird because I remember going to do it -- I must have been distracted).

Gloat: I saved myself from losing ~17k by not making said bets (they'd have won only 8:10).

ETA: With 1:10 to go, I'm number 6. Please, no more 500's on SaS tonight! (Or no more than 5 more...) Sitting pretty at #23 in NBL, with plenty of days left in the month.

ETA: Managed to get silver! And now I'm in position 1, so if you guys could just convince everyone in Neopia to not play Splat-a-Sloth today, I can upgrade that to gold... Glad I managed to get the silver, at least.

I only had my Geos game advance to the third round. At 8:40NST, my partner neomailed me asking if I wanted to finish the game now. I responded in less than 3 minutes (saying I had to leave for work in an hour and had a lot of stuff to do, but most of it was on the computer, so I'd try to check in as often as I can). She hasn't moved since then, and it's been 20 minutes. My computer stuff is mostly done, and since she hasn't responded to either NM (the second was about 3 minutes later, saying "your turn"), I'm not gonna stress about it. I hope we can finish, but whatever. (We've each finished the rectangle, and I'm 2 away from the triangle, so a bit more than halfway done.)

ETA: Well, she showed up in time for us to play it out (I won).

I got silver in NBL last night (maybe a gold upgrade tonight? if not too many people bump me...). I won over 900k in Food Club yesterday (should have been over 1M, but I messed up one of my bets -- it's hard to feel sad about that, though). And I just won 10k from each of 2 Race to Riches scratchcards. Not a bad way to start my Neopian day.

ETA: When I went to bed last night, I was second in NBL. I refreshed to see I'd fallen off the table, but when I looked at my look-up, it had upgraded. Woohoo!
