Mystery Challenge: Some claim that a land made entirely of jelly made its wobbly way into Neopia during Y5. Those who make such a preposterous claim would also have you believe that this challenge can be completed by submitting a very real score of 400 in this game.
Submit a score of 400+ on Bouncy Supreme.
Game Challenge: This snot-soaked menace began leaving behind a trail of destruction (among other things) all the way back in Y4. Salute this slimy scoundrel with a score of 12,000 in his game, which followed a few years later.

There's no list of qualifying games this year. I hope this means we won't be scrambling to play 60 games on the last day.

Just in case there is such a challenge, I guess it wouldn't hurt to play a few different random Flash games each day for the NP. Maybe just pick 3-5 for a different category each day that I don't hate, and that way I'll have a decent start on the crazy challenge by the end. Maybe? Unless they don't count until the last day... Hmm...

Hmm. Indeed. I am going to be gameplay-challenged this weekend. I'm working the bar on Saturday all day, then flying out for work on Sunday morning to have a fun-filled week of business travel. Yay. :/

It's Thanksgiving; I'm not going to have time to be on the internet for large chunks of it! (And you can't play flash games from an iPad, which I might have with me.)

I've managed to (somehow) get through all of the games on release day so far...mostly on a laptop with no mouse (because we forgot to bring one). Trying to get some of them done with a touch-pad was tricky on some games.

Today's games were...special. I hate Lost in Space Fungus. It took me several tries to get it, even with a guide!

Top Chop was special for me; my laptop lags so much, I'd have to hit space while the cursor was near the bottom and hope it made it to the middle by the time it registered. Thankfully I got lucky and had a brief spell where the lag improved long enough for me to beat the score. I'm glad it was a relatively low score!

Glad you got it, Siniri! I made sure to do that one first before leaving for the airport. Top Chop is a game I do better if I haven't played for a while. I seem to generally get worse each consecutive time in a sitting. Laptop for Bruno once I wasn't in a hurry.

The required scores have been lower than I expected for all of the games. None of them has been an ordeal. Hopefully, tomorrow's will not be any different.

Pickles, I had exactly the opposite reaction-- Lost in Space Fungus took me two tries only because I'd never played it before, but 600 in Bumble Beams... well, that's above my existing high score because I'm just so terrible at it, and I don't see how I'll manage to get it.

Bumble Beams is tricky, but with practice it gets a little easier. One trick is to know how the different color beams behave. The guide at JN is pretty good...

The other trick to BB is to try for as many 2x bonuses as possible, especially in the earlier rounds. This is best achieved by hitting opposite keys so that the petpet slowly drops off the end into the basket; you'll get the timing down after a few tries. Go slowly so that you have more control, and use a rhythm for each level (I often aim for every other basket, though that goes up to every third on later levels). That way, you won't have to hold a petpet for too long waiting for a basket to show up. I also try to avoid wooden beams (except for the super long ones, where your petpet is basically guaranteed to fall on the correct side, since you have to hold on to the opposite arrow key starting before it even hits the beam -- but the long wooden ones actually make getting a lot of 2x bonuses pretty easy). Hope some of these tips help.

Wingoball always takes me at least 3 tries to get, no matter what the score is. However, GMC completed here, yay!

I'm on to my fifth row of event trophies. Only 2 for 2014, my lowest since I started doing all the Neopian things after joining PPT. Because that's all TNT offered us this year. Didn't they promise us a better GMC when they canceled DD this year? It's like TNT has given up on Flash games completely.

Although really, I don't blame them for doing this scaled back thing when so many things still have issues because of the transition. And we did have that logic puzzle, even though there was no trophy for it. And based on the pattern we've had since 2009, we should look forward to some kind of plot in 2015! *crosses fingers and toes and arms and legs and all my hair*
