Thanks, Daze! Hopefully I'll have time to change up my team and do a little better in round 3 -- I changed and got worse in round 2. Ugh.

I am alive (though sometimes, it feels like barely), just haven't had much time for computers this week, and spent most of last week in the car. CW, I hope you enjoyed the heat and humidity, and that the thunderstorms these last couple evenings didn't spoil any of your plans!

Round 2: 6839 (I'm still not even sure how I managed to get a team picked for this - I think I might've logged in the last possible day and thought I'd missed round 2 and that I was signing up for round 3).

I *might* make it to rank 1 tonight. That might be as far as I get this year. I'm a little more than halfway there. My first day of actual playing was Thursday - I got in a whopping 100 SOSD's on Thursday, and I've gotten in some more today. Laptop is soooooo slooooowwwww. Can't wait until my desktop is set back up again!

Made it to rank 1 last night. Haven't had time to play at all today. Things might change this week - we'll see how the kids do with napping...and if I don't collapse for a nap when they do, too!

ETA: Staff Tourney round 3 is out. Scored 8321 points this time!

I have more than enough points to buy at least one of each item. And then some (2271 points left over).

I've decided to just stay at rank 1 for the rest of the tourney. If I happen to (by some strange miracle) have the time and energy both at the same time, I might try to max out for a day and get to rank 4, but it's unlikely.

ETA: no sense in wasting points on that. I picked up two off of the SW for about 3k each.

I won just over 19k in prize points. I had no time to adjust my team between rounds 2 and 3; I'm glad I had the foresight to renew my team as soon as results came out, or I'd have gotten nothing.

I won't make All Star this year. No motivation to try to crank out insane volume over the next few days to catch up -- if it were even possible with the caps. Ah, well, between my 70+ hour work weeks and no internet for a week, I think I did pretty well, especially since I planned to not play at all at the beginning... No idea where I even am right now...

Ah, phooey. I went to try and breeze through to rank 4 (from rank 1) during the kids' nap today, and I totally forgot they'd lowered the max numbers of SOSD from 1201 to 762. I ended up having to play 38 MSN's to get to the next rank - Rank 3. I was hoping to SOSD to Rank 4 today, but ah well. Rank 3 it is. I'm totally not wasting time on YYB or SS to get to rank 4 - it's not worth the effort, and MSN will kill me if I try to get there that way.

I know exactly where I stand this year. Participant with one win each I wonder if get I will 1 point for the shop. Seriously low/zero motivation this year. And no time, either.

Well, they gave us 2 days of extra play against the jelly team. I'm to the point where if I max out on SOSD tomorrow, I'll hit rank 6 exactly. Better than I expected would be possible. Here's hoping I'm able to spend the time tomorrow to max out. Shouldn't take long - probably around 30-40 minutes. *crosses fingers*

I'm at rank 13 and not too far from 14, but the points don't help our team, and since I don't trust prize shops anymore, what's the point? Just staying where I am...
