So why are the horns called Krampus horns if the NeoMonster is Krawlus, according to the story?

So I didn't get it either, but here's some info from the neoboards:

Krampus is a very old legend, from either Norse or Russian lore, I believe. *Nods* He's basically the polar opposite of Santa Claus (And kind of works in concert with him, I guess.). He's responsible for punishing boring children & evil people.

Doing a search it seems to originate in Alpine countries' folklore. Associated traditions seem to vary by region, as does his name (Zwarte Piet, Knecht Ruprecht, Krampus and others).

I remember how we were beaten up with a branch as a little kids by Knecht Ruprecht (Krampus). Then Heiliger Nikolaus (Santa) gave me a small bag filled with walnuts, an orange and golden chocolate coins.

I guess maybe they called them Krampus horns to point at the fact that it is a real legend? I don't know, otherwise.
But...still, that was some decent old-school Neo there, taking something from RL and putting it into Neo!

I am familiar with the legendary Krampus (He is an anti-Santa), but am annoyed with them calling him Krawlus in the cartoon, and then calling the item Krampus Horns. TNT frequently calls items/creatures similar names, (e/g/ Poodle -> Poogle), so Krawlus is clearly a play on Krampus (and very on brand for Neopets to tweak the name). So, it feels that they should have either called them "Krawlus Horns", or said "Krampus" in the cartoon. Its just me, and I will get over it soon.

Today's animation was much better... A Polarchuck eating Frosty's head... What's next?!
