Edit: I've been continuing to win around the same spot (the center of the small lake) on and off since my last post, so the treasure still seems to be in the area.

But what I really came here to edit was:
Cry: I got neggitus from the WoMis for my daily quest today, and the healing springs refuses to heal my battle pet
Gloat: I finally searched my SDB for the cure and found 10, so I can finally do my plot battles -- BEFORE spinning any more wheels!

While out for a stroll, YourPet looks down and finds 15,274 NP on the ground. Today looks like a lucky day!

I also got 500 and 5000 NP from buried treasure today!

Makes up for the RE that took all my remaining NP but one yesterday (thankfully I'd just bought a bunch of codestones, so it was only ~11k).

For years, I had carried a max of 100k on hand in case something "great" came up to buy in a hurry. I had not deposited my Quest Log NP rewards or my Void battling NP for the last several days, including today... Dr. Sloth got quite a haul today. Look out Neopia!

ETA: As I landed on the Bank page to deposit what was left on-hand... Another RE: "An Alien Aisha approaches and hands you Ketchup-Flavoured Milk. Gross." Gross indeed.

Gloat: I got 3x 5000 and 3x 10,000 on my RtR scratchcard today!

Cry: I only got 10k because it only gives out one prize if you get multiple. (Not as bad as the time under original TNT when I got 10k and snowballs and was awarded the snowballs. Sent in a ticket, and they explained you could only win one, but it was always the "higher value" prize. I sold those snowballs for less than 100 NP between them.)

Edit: I won two smoked snorkle cheeses in cheese roller today! So that's two R102 items for the next CC-like event! (+870 NP net).

Edit (one month later): I had 3 plushie matches on a Terror Trove card, and I got a new-to-me prize: Scratching Tools Are All Around You Book (a R101 book, currently going for 88k on the SW). Woohoo!

Edit (a week later):
Gloat: I finally got a level from a scratchcard!
Cry: It went to a non-active pet. Boo!
Second gloat: I managed to snag the most expensive lab map piece for 250k (~37% off) from someone's shop. Now I only need one more, once enough of my extra pieces sell to afford it.
Third gloat: I managed to snag the last piece I need, again for a 70k discount! Woot! Time to actually unlock the lab on this account, finally...

Edit: And I just got one of the two pieces I had to buy from an RE. Woohoo! More NP to restock on red codestones.

Gloat: A chill runs up your spine and you feel someone behind you. Thankfully, it's just Jacko the Phantom painter here to give you Zombie Petpet Paint Brush. He quickly fades away, and you decide to focus on your new item so you don't get the creeps.

Haven't had him visit in AGES and at least this one isn't worth like...5k.
