Daily/Weekly Quests [Split 1]

Got my zombie PB yesterday. Today's prize is Supreme Deluxe Faerie Queen Dress. In terms of relative value, it's #45 of 67, theoretically... But it's not something I'd want, so I'm going to reroll. And it looks like I'll be skipping... Turtle forest blade (customization).

Edit: Still trying to roll for something decent. Today's was a plushie worth 74k. No thanks! Had to skip a quest for a book worth 2k because it was the cheapest one. Ah, well. Maybe tomorrow?

I picked up a book today (worth ~1.7k). I figure that the 20k minimum, up to 40k, and an item worth up to 400k each day is worth more than whatever crummy weekly prize I get. Most, if not all of my weekly prizes end up in my SDB anyway

Let's see... Seven days of rerolling means I lost out on exactly one prize and 20k * 7. The highest prize I was offered in that time was "worth" ~800k*, so that's a loss of 940k. But today I rolled a Golden Mr Irgo Stamp worth ~4 million. I'd say that was worth rerolling for!

* but it was an ugly wearable, so I don't know how much I could have actually sold it for

A 4 million NP prize is definitely worth re-rolling for, assuming you can sell it for over 1 million.

Faerie Paint Brushes have fallen enough that I couldn't dump sell it on the TP for 1.5MM when they were going for 2MM. Then I put it up for 1.2MM and... now they are going for around 750k on the TP... SW has them at 725k


ETA: This week is a Dragonfly Nymph, supposedly worth ~2MM...

Got my weekly today, too. Hoping for at least one more decent item before the month ends, but we'll see...

My new prize is one I've already rerolled on. I'm going to do a little experiment based on one of the early rounds where I got reset, where I was sure I'd completed all the quests and collected the prizes (because they were in my inventory). I'm going to collect all my daily prizes today but not the 20k, and see if I roll a new prize tomorrow. It'd just be nice to know because one day last week, I had to skip a dubloon worth 2.5k because it was my cheapest prize, but that may not be necessary. I think the info going forward will be worth potentially needing an extra day or two to reroll.

Edit: And they fixed the glitch. Which means I lost two days (today to reset to no days progress in addition to yesterday, and then tomorrow I'll get reset for hopefully a decent prize).

Picked up my Dragonfly Nymph petpetpet yesterday. This week is a Dusk Kougra Plushie

I suppose I should try and sell the Dragonfly Nymph before the price bottoms out. Has already dropped 250k since last week.

Could be good timing for me. I'll collect the maraquan sunken ship bg tomorrow, so I might be able to roll one of the good prizes before the prize rotation. Or I'll keep rerolling until then...

Edit: I rolled a feloreena yesterday. Today, the second weekly box showed up before I refreshed, while the timer was still on the daily tab. I'm still going to refresh just in case, but combined with them giving me credit when I didn't collect my 20k one day, I think they've mostly fixed the issue of not getting credit.

Since refreshing is now habit, though, it's just easier to give myself that extra reassurance than get a rare glitch that resets your progress (or worse, rerolls you away from a great prize).

New prizes are up!
There are two stamps that I don't have in my album (Garin Stamp and One Hundred Million Neopoint Stamp), 2 neggs I don't have in my gallery already and also need for gourmet food (Happy Anniversary Negg and Rainbow Cybunny Negg) and one weapon I would love to add to my collection (Triple Turbo Dryer).

At a quick glance, there are a couple other good weapons on the list (Blaze and Ultimate Dark Reflectorb) and this questionable weapon: Scroll Potion. There's three snowy valley stamps, too (RIP me not having sold the Candy Chan Stamp from the advent calendar when it was still worth something...). There are also a couple stat boost Neggs (Spiked Negg and Cool Negg), quite a few P3's, PB's, a few petpets (the most exciting of which is the Moltenore) and some gourmet food items that I wouldn't mind having make their way to my SDB eventually.

Of note in the daily prize pool are the White Paint Brush (currently worth 2 mil), the Energising Elixir (stat booster), and a few job coupons. The only Negg actually worth getting is the Christmas Pattern Negg, because it's worth neggery points. The Happy Birthday Negg isn't worth any, and the Plaid Negg no longer functions, as it granted things for the old battledome (it was likely chosen because it's Christmas colors).

So...I've at least got a short list to look for. Just need to finish up the week I'm on and hope for the items I want! Unfortunately that's a few days from now yet, as I'm only on day 4 of my current streak. Almost wish I hadn't gone with the one I'm on, but...oh well.

Pickles. is there a new place to look for the value of the new prizes? My first one up is the Happy Anniversary Negg, so I'm happy to send it your way if you still need it (along with the other items I have for you, when we're both a bit less busy -- I might have time sometime this week, and I won't actually get it until the 22nd, anyway).

White PB worth 2 mil on Monday. It's Saturday and it's worth... About 85k. Figures. I picked one up yesterday.

No biggie. Doesn't matter what it is worth if it's in my SDB
