Prizes for TM scratch cards have been updated. First they updated the actual item prizes, but now the NPs have been updated, too. O.o

...from a Race to Riches Scratchcard I just bought and scratched this morning! Woot!
From that card, looks like 2.5k is now 10k, 5k is now 15k, 10k is 25k....and according to JN, the 50k spot is now 75k.

Maybe they'll make the level win so that it goes to your active pet? Maybe? Pretty please?

Since the time I made the original post, they have confirmed that they will be updating scratchcards to have the stats go to the active pet. Still hasn't happened yet, but I'm hoarding my TT and FF scratchcards.

On a bigger piece of news...they updated the battledome boosts today. There are now brackets for 800 and 850! I'm super excited about this!
Anyone hoarding stat boosting items...they have inflated quite a bit!

Thanks, Pickles! That gives me two extra strength boosts (and I'm 3 away if they go for another), and one extra defense (37 away from the last, if the lab would stop stealing them).

I'll have to see if it helps me battle with fewer clicks anywhere.

Edit: I don't know if it's different, but I can beat Tekkitu by clicking on warlocks rage, thundersticks, and the sword of Malek ?, then I just have to skip and click quickly on the second round (because the sword finishes her off while the thundersticks prevents damage for that round). So it's nearly as fast as a single round.

She only has 136-152 HP left after the first round, so I could probably finish her off in one with slightly stronger weapons (and/or a 900 strength boost). Either way, I'm never going to max out my BD HP in a day.

Edit: Is this a new feature? I just won a gold mote from the WoK, and I was offered the chance for another spin if I watched an ad. I did, and won another prize (a food). I didn't think to check whether the additional spin cost the 400 NP or not, but it was still pretty cool. Guess I'll need to actually wait for the wheel to finish spinning instead of refreshing. Does this happen on the other wheels? Obviously it's more valuable for daily wheels. I wonder how often the offer is made... Only certain squares?

Or maybe this is old, and I just missed the memo. I remember I thought I had to click on the location of the prize for the forgotten shore for years until one day I misclicked and realized you could click anywhere. (To be fair, TNT used to torture us with pixel-perfect clicks back in the day.)

I believe this was new as of sometime yesterday.
I was able to do two spins today on WOK as well...but I guess because of premium, I didn't have to watch an ad. I am expecting all the same issues that happened with the Wheel of Celebration to occur again. 100% expecting that my kiddos will not be able to get the ad to work at all, because I'm pretty sure that they've got an age limit on it again. Ah, well.

I watched the ad for the free spin today (wasn't offered one yesterday), and when it went back to the wheel, it said I'd already spun today! So they tricked me into "watching" an ad for no reward! Boo!

I can't tell you what the ad was for. I did get several free spins from the reroll spot on the wheel, but that also happened the first day.

Edit: a new "feature" that feels like an April Fool's prank, but we're two months early for that. I just hit the "new search" button while pricing my daily quest items to decide which quest to skip, and I got an ad with a countdown to my "reward." Once I could skip, my reward was to be able to use the SW. Gee, thanks, TNT.

Thankfully it was only five seconds, but I did have to be in the window for it to count down. If I start getting this on more pages, this one may be enough for me to quit the site. (I don't have an ad blocker installed on my phone.) If it's just the SW and it's only five seconds, it won't affect me much.

I can't be bothered to submit a ticket. Hopefully others will have the same glitch and report it. I just don't care enough.

Edit: I managed to get a free spin from WOK yesterday. I paused for a second before clicking the button, thinking maybe last time I closed the ad a hair too soon last time, causing the glitch.

So then I tried the same today, but the ad closed before I could, and I didn't get credit for watching it. So maybe I clicked too late last time, too? That's really annoying. If you watch the ad, it should count without having to click a tiny x within a fraction of a second. I did submit a ticket this time.

Edit: just got the ad preload for the healing springs. Sent in a ticket.

Tl;Dr version (my edits were long as I reacted to each issue):
1) WoK bonus spin is glitched -- sometimes it doesn't load at all, and other times it doesn't give me the reward even though I watched the ad. Submitted a ticket after the second no-reward.

2) TNT has started requiring you to watch ads before loading certain pages (with the obnoxious "reward" countdown, identical to WoK's, except thankfully it does actually load the page properly afterwards). I submitted a ticket today after it happened to me at the healing springs (other time was SW).

I told them I'll either be installing an ad blocker on my phone (which I've avoided because I do want them to get ad revenue from me) or quit the site altogether before I put up with this intrusive level of advertisement on their site.

I'm hoping it's just a glitch that's accidentally making the WoK reward bleed over onto other pages. I'll give them a little time to answer/fix it, because at least it's rare for now. But that's just entirely too much. I already have to deal with ads that block the pages from working sometimes, and others that trick me into clicking them. Taking 5 seconds for every page load is ridiculous.

Ugh, Siniri. I hope they fix the WoK errors soon. There are a lot of people having trouble with it now. I told my kiddos to not even bother attempting the second spin, so they haven't.

We also want to let you know that we have brought back another 15+ games to the Classic Games Room, just in time for the weekend! Why not unwind by playing some of your favourite nostalgic games like Cloud Raiders, Extreme Herder 2 or Pawkeet Slots?!

I have no idea what other games this includes, but...yay!

Extra Game Score Submissions - Premium subscribers will have access to 1 extra score submission per game, bringing their total up to 4 submissions per game. Please note, this perk stacks with the Premium Dreamium boon, this will up game score submissions from 4 to 5 per day if used. Learn more.
Streak Save Tickets - A pass used to help restore a broken streaks in the Quest Log or Trudy’s Surprise! Learn more.

Quest Log Weekly Reward Re-Roll
You all asked and we listened! We have added a new re-roll feature to Quest Log that allows you to swap out your Weekly Bonus Reward!

You can now re-roll your Weekly Bonus Reward at any time without sacrificing any of your daily quests!
Feature costs NP to use, with the cost doubling each time you use it. Once you complete your streak the cost will reset.
You will not lose progress on your weekly streak when re-rolling!
You can re-roll as many times as you want, so long as you have the NP!

JellyNeo has reported an active hack on the site.
Basically...if you've played Kacheekers/Armada/Geos, change your password ASAP and don't visit those pages.

If you haven't, you're probably fine, but...you might want to change your password anyways just in case you haven't in a while.

Some strange rumours have been flying around Neopia lately, and our intrepid team of Meepits has been carefully investigating them. After much searching, they have reported back and we can confirm: the rumours are true and there is, in fact, a new Neopet coming soon!

More details to be announced, but the plan is for our newest Neopet to be made available through the Premium Pet Species Change first, with a wider release to come later during a site-wide event.

...Part of me is still screaming that this is part of an elaborate April Fools Joke, because it has been reported that a previous April Fools joke pet had been found temporarily. But...maybe it's not? I've already used my species change premium perk recently, so I won't be getting one right away (assuming I would want one, which I'm not sure I do, so I'm not overly worried about it - but my oldest kiddo might like one).

I'm still digesting it. Too many ugh things going on in real life for me to really process fast right now. Most of it looks like it's trying to get you to pay for something for bonuses. Bleh. I'm still not on Neopass, and I'm still not sold on needing to jump over to it yet. (Although if I ever do switch over, I've got SO many rewards stored up on ToD, it's ridiculous).

I'm not spending real money. I don't have time to level up a new game, and anyway, I think I already installed faerie fragments at some point, so I don't know what I'd be eligible for.

The fine details (listed further down the page) clarify some things:
The SuAP is going to be given out to ONLY FIVE (5) random people who either sign up for premium OR are already signed up. Same deal for the one for Faerie's Fragments (passing level 100...which I've done 4 times now). So...it's random...and you're already entered in the Premium one.

Anyways...I'm still not sold on linking Neopass (which would be required for any of the FF items). Even if it means literally millions (at this point) of neopoints that will start coming through at a max of 100k a day.
