I went with the bank boon but just cracked open a cookie.

Going to track the cookie just to see what my stats are. Obviously I can't know what I would have gotten by refreshing, but I can track how often I would have refreshed.

1) water, Baby Ruki Board Book, 2.5k NP, +3 defense
2) ***air, 2175 NP, +3 movement
and bonus quest (when I went to complete my training): dark, 490 NP, +3 HP
3) battle, 100k, +3 str, +3 def, +3 HP (a time savings, but probably pretty even compared to the codestone cost -- at least it didn't cost more than training, though! The item was only 7.5k two months ago.)
4) **grey, 540 NP --> earth, +3 def
5) light, 2.2k, +2 level
6) fire, 1.3k, +3 str
7) fire, 1850 NP, +3 str
fire, 1262 NP, +3 str
9) light, 1745 NP, +2 level
10) dark, 1 NP, +3 HP

Stat increases:
+9 HP
+4 level
+12 str
+9 defense
+3 movement

I only got three movement, so I probably wouldn't have refreshed but one or two times. Assuming one of those refreshes was a great faerie, my net increase in stats would have saved me a bit fewer NP than I gained from the bank boon. I'm happy with my choice.

Oh, wait! It's Wednesday night! I'm going to join Seekers for the bank boon, Tiny, the smug philosopher's amazing hair, and nostalgia for my original faction.

Hopefully you guys managed to sign up, too, even if we can't get together a bandwagon this time n

Edit: this week flew by! I was so tired after work yesterday, I fell asleep without even realizing what day it was. I checked today, but of course the battle had already started. Oops.

Same. This week has been a blur. On the plus side, I cannot battle in the skirmish. And, easiest boon is no boon...? Well, bank boon is easy

Bummer. I totally forgot to sign up until the last minute, half asleep, and went for Sway, and we won. Guess it's my week to have boons when y'all don't (because I went with Order last time and we lost). I have 4 more fortune cookies left, so I guess I'll crack one of them later tonight and use it. I hit my training goal for before the plot restarted already, but I suppose it can't hurt to get a jump towards my next goal (which will probably take another 6 months to get to, but still.)

Day 1: Fire (Embers Boots) --> Grey (Puppyblew) -> Fountain Faerie dip....but I already had one. Sigh.
Day 2: Light (Grarrg) -> +2Lvl to battle pet
Day 3: Grey (Tenna) --> Fire (Flotsam Sweater) -> +3Str to back-up battle pet (okay, this is opposite of day one, but at least the quest wasn't wasted!)
Day 4: Soup (Large Mango-Melon Smoothie) -> +2H+2 Def to battle pet
Day 5: Space (Slatted Fence) -> +5Lvls to battle pet (wow, I haven't had a Space Faerie in ages!)
Day 6: Light (Niten Hiroru) -> +2Lvl to battle pet (Okay, I'm not going to have to train level for a while now)
Day 7: Dark (Smug Bug Bank) -> +3HP to battle pet
On the whole, only two refreshes and both were useless...not the best time I've had this boon. Ah well.

Day 8: Fountain (Flotsam Body Armour) -> Fountain Faerie dip...except this time I knew it was coming so I planned ahead and used my previous one, whew!
Day 9: Dark (Rainbow Elephante Toy) -> +3HP to battle pet
Day 10: Earth (Nanka Bottle) -> +3Def to back-up battle pet

Thieves, Seekers, Awakened

Edit: not surprisingly with the way my week has gone, I accidentally joined Awakened while trying to join Seekers for the easy bank boon. Bandwagon, anyone? Maybe they'll actually have good boons this time?

I went ahead and joined Awakened. No guarantee there won't be an upset (because there's some rumors that someone might try one this time around), but...yeah. Awakened it is. Here's hoping for a good boon.
