When I try to load it it says: 'This application requires an Xtra (flash movie...) that either does not exist or failed to initialized properly. Do you have the Shockwave and Flash plug-ins installed for your browser?

I put all the windows updates I missed on my computer, and did a virus scan along with many adware/spyware scans. It continues restarting. I finally got a response from the crash test thing, and this is the page I got.

It seems to be some problem with your graphic card drivers, I suggest you download new ones from the manufacturers site.

If you don't know what graphics card you have, go to Run, typ dxdiag, and the third tab, "Display", there you'll find the name of your card.

Good luck :) You can always add me on MSN/ICQ if you want some help :)

I'm using IE6....why?

Sat Aug 07, 2004 7:47 pm

Some browsers aren't able to implement plug-ins or ActiveX tools easily. Netscape and Mozilla need to have downloaded the plug-in and implemented with an installer. Internet Explorer downloads the plug-in automatically and installs it.

Is the name of the plug-in "Xtra" or is the plug-in just normal Flash and Shockwave? If it's just Flash or Shockwave, just go to http://www.macromedia.com/ and download the plug-ins and install them again.

My computer still isn't fixed...
But can you also help me with a PDA problem?
A long time ago I downloaded scrabble for my pda.
The screen messed up and then turned off.
Then finally I got it to turn on again.
But when I click on something on the screen, it clicks on something different on the screen instead...
Can I fix this?

That would be a problem with the device forgetting the screen settings. If you're using a palm, sync it, then pull out the batteries for a couple of minutes. The device should reset completely, and offer you to redigitize your screen ("click in one corner, the opposite corner, and now in the center"). If you can get into Preferences->Digitizer, you don't have to reset your device.

Hey...

This isn't really a question, but where do you get those virus scanners that scan and delete spyware, keyloggers etc?

Spybot - Search & Destroy :)

Oh, and one thing that really helps is changing browser from IE to something else, most of the spyware you get that way.

I just checked myself, on a atleast 2 month old windows installation, never scanned before and I've surfed alot; found 4 spyware-thingies. I used to have atleast 20 whenever I checked before, when I still used Internet Explorer. Now I use Mozilla Firefox, and well, spyware really doesn't bother me anymore :)

First I am recharging it and then I will try to find the sync cord.
If I can't find it, can you buy them seperatly at stores?
