Based on the FAQ, I don't believe this "mini-event" will actually involve playing any of the games. It looks like it's just reading blurbs and collecting prizes.

Hmmm. This isn't AC XX then. Hopefully we can have a great XX next year? As long as it's not cancelled due to lack of interest.
