Edit: Yeah, I got confuzzled between Koi and Kiko . . . again. See below to bask in my foolishness.


Origin of the Species (Koi, that is)

I seem to recall some recent discussion about whether Koi originally came from Maraqua or the Lake that bears their name.

I had to find the book "Feed Koi" for a quest tonight, and the item description says --

I've been here since August 2000, so I know Kois come from Maraqua, but can you give me a link to that lake you mention?

I think he's refering to the origin of the Kiko, not the Koi (there's no Koi Lake from what I know.)
