Does anybody ever use this feature on the Shop wiz

#1 Post by myname7772 »

Feel free to move it because its faster typing it up here.

[b]A basic shop wizard guide for New Member

What are you looking for?
Search Items containing my phraseidentical to my phrase
Min Price
(optional) NP
Max Price
(optional)

I find max price really useful espiacilly if you refresh. The max price thing also helps me atleast save 4 or 5k in quests and most newbies are dumb enough to buy at 10k ihgher then the normal SWA.[/url]

Once I would have been doing 1 np minimum and 99999 max because I didn't know it's not optional. But I don't really use it, it doesn't help. I mean, it does the same thing then the regualer one, and if there are none under the price you did max, it shows no finds. So, it's just like looking at the top of the list.

Its actually really useful beacause there are more people on the list if you search without max etc and the shop wiz can't display them all. But my hint is to just refresh and see another list.

It's also very useful when you're looking for buyable unbuyables. I make it a habit to do that at least once a day. Occasionally, you find something good. :D

I used to, way back in the day, but then I got tired of using it, since it usually resulted in so few results, if any.

I'm one who doesn't really hunt for buyable unbuyables, if they do show it will be by accident rather than using that feature.

the min price is nice because when i buy a lot of items, i find that those whos prices are too high to be on the list have huge hoards of items and its just more convenient for me :)

I use those features every once in awhile, if I'm trying to get something I want to collect a lot of, if I want to look at galleries, etc. Sometimes it comes in handy, for the most part though I rarely use it. :)

Nah, I rarely use it at all. It just type whatever I'm looking for a click "enter". In fact, I'm too lazy to change the thingie from "containing this phrase" (or whatever it was) to "exact phrase". :P

Yup, use it every time I buy something. Search once to find a good max price to use and then go back and search again with the max included. Find some great deals that way...

Hey, that's actually kind of nice! I feel silly for not realizing it sooner. Although I have used it when I'm specifically looking for galleries of certain types of items. Min price 100,000. I like to look at holiday themed galleries for ideas of what items to sell when a holiday approaches.
