That's the main reason my teachers dislike me (if they do). If there is one thing that annoys a teacher, it is being shown up infront of the class. Some of my teachers have a need to feel they have power and authority over the class. So if anyone ever challenges that authority, they get very angry.
There was an incident a week ago that almost got me a 'warning towards suspension'. A girl I was sitting next to knocked a desk over and the teacher , who wasn't even looking in our direction as far as I could tell, turned to me and said "I saw that", whilst looking into my eyes. I got kind of angry and asked her what she meant by that, and demanded I apologise to her and I refused. Sometimes teachers can be so pig headed I lose a bit of self control.

I've had a Communist teacher before, and he had researched his arguments so well that it was hardd to refute him.
