I still stand that Haley shouldn't have gone home. She shouldn't have been in the bottom two so much, either. Most of the girls have a strong voice, hers might not be the strongest, but I believe it was stronger than Phil's (don't shoot me *comes out with hands up*). Phil's does wonderfully with the high notes, but when its time to get all mellow and soft, it sounds "kinda pitchy dawg"

Phil's just boring. :\ He's like the opposite of what Taylor Hicks was last year. He has a great voice (strongest male, actually), but his performances aren't entertaining, at all. I'll be the first to say that being entertaining is important, but not everything, obviously. I just think you need to have a mixture of both, and Phil definitely doesn't have that. :\ When it comes to someone who has a subpar voice, but is entertaining, and a person with a great voice, but boring, I'd take the former in a second.
And strangely, Sanjaya isn't necessarily entertaining, and usually doesn't show a great voice (even if he has it). He did well this week, but he'd better keep on doing that. I think it's just charm outside of the singing, which is a TERRIBLE thing to base a vote upon. -_-;

It is over-rated, but this is the first season where I've watched most of it. Usually I tune in for the auditions and random rounds if anything.
But it is a popular show, so it's not going anywhere until after its contract is over.

For many of us it's a guilty pleasure.Just like watching all those kids shows you watch but deny afterwards.
I openly admit that I will wake up at 8:30 in the morning just so I can watch Arthur. I miss shows with good strong family values. And Arthur just makes me giddy.
Hey... it's a wonderful kinda day... where you can learn to laugh and play and get along with each other...

Evisceration is a sign of respect.

Chris isn't that bad, but I wonder how long he'll survive though. He's been in the bottom three a few times.

I'm guilty of that too.
I promised myself I wouldn't watch it this year...until I heard about Chris Sligh.
He got kicked off, so I don't care about it anymore. I haven't watched it since.

Every single person I talk to, and everyone on the radio, says that Sanjaya's last performance was good. I have to go see it for myself.
And...from the maker of the Sanjaya Anthem...

true true....when i mean good i mean compared to sanjayas own standards though, not the same standards as blake or melinda because we all definetly know that he is n where near the same as them!
