Scarab Ring - Opinions?
Hi!
Ok, I know the darned thing is not equipable/active yet ... but the description says attack and defend, which makes it sound ok at the very least.
Should I buy one and hope for the best, or do you all think this will be "junk", like doing 2 icons of damage, something like that. I don't want to spend 45K (minimum) on something that'll do nothing or next to nothing.

If you compare it to other scratchcard prizes, say, the Terror Mountain "Artifacts", such as the Snowglobe Staff, then it may be a decent weapon.
I'm not paying more than about 10 K for it until I see some stats, though.

You sound like me - optimistically skeptical
Thing is, the cheapest one right now on the wiz is around 45k, I've been looking! The only way I think to find one for 10k (or anywhere near there) is either a new person who misprices one in their shop or if it truly is cruddy - then the price will drop like a rock. Decisions, decisions!

.
It could be the next melting mirror or moehogs skull....

I am not a battle newbie, but I don't have the np to dish out for nice ones, so i think this ring is slightly better then the LDD, I think it cause the Defending rate is nice. Who knows, I may be wrong, I just hope It gets a little cheaper so i can buy a second one.

Was able to pick one up last night after refreshing the shop wiz page forever ... now my pet has 85 boost both strength and defense.
Tried it out on the flaming meerca (just for giggles) - did a fairly respectable 29 damage on jump and attack while only getting 2 damage myself (using the SC with leaf shield). I'm actually pretty impressed with this! It's no MoC (3.7 million in the HT), but it just may do for the time being.
