When did the bottom ads disappear?

#1 Post by vtothec »

Sorry I'm really behind the ball but when did they take the bottom ads off pages?

Yesterday if I'm not mistaken...

I installed Firfox yesterday and thought it was just adblock (I had already blocked several ads at the top before I realised there was none at the bottom) but then I saw the "This pages contains paid advertisements" and the HR tag was gone...

I still see still Google Adsense ads at the bottom. Not sure about those from Realmedia.com tho since I blocked that site.

Yay! :D Now I don't have to change the language to another...
Maybe they just didn't work, no one clicked them, everyone complained, people changed the language to get rid of it etc.. Funny that they didn't say anything about it in the news..

They really slowed the site down plus it was harder to restock with the technique I use..

I just did, and I'm still seeing ads on every page, top and bottom.
