I was just now starting to do some quests and buy some items when:

ERROR : You were referred here from a non-Neopets page. Looks like somebody was trying to cheat you! Try another shop!

When I was trying to buy a plushie in someone shop, I tried other shop and other item and I always get the same error.

I've been playing neopets for about 9 months in this computer and this NEVER hapenned to me before. Should I be scared? I'm just going to change the pw anyway.

That's bizarre. Let me try to buy something and see if that happens to me.<hr>I just bought a pile of dung and nothing happened.

Maybe check the URL's of the shops/the shop wizard? It's saying your being directed from the wrong page.

Weird...I actually managed to buy the pile of dung now. Well, it seems that everything is ok now, but do anyone thinks I was being hacked or something? Because it was the first time something like that happens to me and I got very scared. I don't want to loose my account.

remove the "petpages" from the beginning of the URL and replace it with www

I'm assuming you were looking at a petpage before closing the browser?

I've gotten that before, quite a while back. I think it is related to two things both of which are related to the shop wiz: the function that lets the item be at the top of the page, and that warning thingy where, if you go to the wizard and the item is 500NP and when you go to the shop, it's been marked up to 5000NP it gives you a popup window asking if you really want the item. You can still go to the person's shop and buy it, but like it gives you a cookie or something that lets your browser know what the item and shop wiz price was.

Seems like the first time I got that "you've been directed here from another site" was right after they put that feature in the shop wiz that brings the item to the top of the shop.

Actually Anoohilator, I wasn't in a petpage, I just had 3 open windows at the time, one being the quest I was doing, the other the shop wiz and the third a board I was browsing.
I wasn't doing anything I had never done before. And that's really weird, to get a error I never had ever heard about.
