A member on GameFAQs set up a phpBB2 gaming forum with his one friend and they're looking for members:

I read the Forum Rules and Guidelines and didn't see anything about promoting other message board sites, so... please don't kill me or anything if this is against some rule that I didn't see.

It's allowed, but it should be in Promotions and Plugging.

I can't move it (not a moderator of this board), but I'll find someone who can.
