Yeah, that is where most people lose out. Either that or they name it something like 456koi456 or something, which they come to regret. You can check the pound for poorly named koi now.

it might be worth having a name already picked out for such eventualities... I wouldnt be organised enough, and i have 4 pets anyway, but yeah.

I finally got a koi!
But its name is horrible...i just typed in random letters and got garbleness!
Is there any way to change the name?

You people should really learn to come up with names and check if they're free before LE pet days.

Just put it in the pound. THen wait until around 751 neopets time and then go adopt another. If they release any more that is. All signs point to the fact that they will, they've released them every hour now for all day just about. Anyway, think of a good name now! Like prettyscale or flashyscales or something. Those aren't taken, by the way.
