So I'm not 100% sure this is the right place to post this, but oh well.

For the last couple days I've been hearing a strong buzzing sound every 20 pages or so. Yesterday it was more frequent. At first I figured it was due to that weird glitch, but that seems to be over and I still hear buzzing. I also thought maybe it was a virus or spyware..but I ran all my scans and nothing really bad came up (cleaned everything up of course). I still kept hearing the buzzing but tonight I switched back over to my desktop (which I haven't used in over a week) and the second page I go to has the buzzing.

On all the pages I hear it I always check to see if there ads that might be responsible, but they're always different.

Any thoughts?

I've been hearing it occasionally too, but it's because of the ad. Something like "swat the fly"...it's really annoying.

That's what I thought at first (it'd be an ad) but I swear that 99.9% of the time, that ad isn't present when I hear it. Unless I'm looking in the wrong place...

It's the top banner ad ("swat the mosquito and win a free laptop!" :roll: ). Do you have it hidden with that css code? It's been happening with me as well. Even though I can't see it, it's still there and the buzzing noise is very annoying.

That's it. I forgot I had done that as I still see the bottom ads. Now I feel kinda dumb. :) But dumb > virus.
