Ofcourse they do, theyre just telling you that to annoy you
I remember when our tv broke, it took the repairman 4 weeks to fix it cause he was busy doing up his garden -_-

No TV! That is the worst thing that can happen, after no computer or no electricity or no plumbing.

I agree, just keep saying "At least my computer still works!"
I got a chill when I read this. I don't watch too much, but I don't know how long I'd last without a tv.

I remember when that happened to my sister - our house got burglerized and it took her a few months for my parents to go and get a new one.
Then the TV in the living room went kaputt, and they went out the same day and bought a new one.
