I tend to avoid movies that contain unfunny humour, NASCAR racing, and/or Southern accents.

Ugh, why didn't I listen to my mind and not go to see this movie?

At least the movie was free (American Eagle promotion).

But it was funny. Also, did you recognize the French guy? That was Sacha Baron Cohen, probably one of the funniest people alive.

I can't wait until Borat comes out so I can not talk about how funny it will be on here.

I want to see this movie, so long as it's better than Kicking and Screaming, which was terrible. At least this one looks hilarious.

Saw it on Saturday. It was written by the same people who wrote Anchorman, so it was hilarious :P. I love Will Ferrell, all of the other actors were very good too! Go see it, seriously, it's so good. I don't even care for Nascar or anything, but I enjoyed it.

I went. I saw. I was amazed.

I don't laugh much. This is one of the few movies in who knows how long that had me laughing quite a bit (not rolling on the floor laughing, but mostly chuckles except for a few parts that were hilarious. xD). I'd recommend it.

I think it looks really dumb, but as I havn't seen it I can't say for sure one way or the other. Two friends of mine are really excited about it though, apparently they see something in it I don't, like humour.

Pretty darn good. No Anchorman, but its close.

I think the genius of Anchorman was Will Ferrell's character was relatively intelligent (relatively, work with me here) which allowed the other characters, specifically Steve Carrell to function at a sillier, dumber level which was pure genius. In this movie, all the main characters are stupid which doesn't really offer them much to work against. There are brilliant moments in this film where the actors just go to town and some they're held too closely to the plot. All in all, go see it now while you have the benefit of knowing you'll see it with a large audience because your viewing will benefit from that. Unless you're sitting by some smurf teenybopped TextMessaging throughout the entire move, that little ho-bag. Anyways, go watch and laugh with the rest of the world. You'll be disappointed if you wait for the DVD.

Eh, some people just don't have much, as far as a sense of humour goes. ;)

I thought that the scene at the end of the race was DISGUSTING!!!!

Other than that, I thought the movie was fantastic! And was Ricky Bobby's dad Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite?

Curious how in a movie where stereotypes of french people are reinforced, excessive commercialization is applauded and women are seen as gold digging bimbos, the most offensive thing to you was a kiss between two males.

Curious... do you think the makers of this movie which is set in the southern United States and is meant to appeal to a demographic who sit down on a weekly basis to watch cars because they drive really fast could possibly be going for that exact reaction? Hmmmmmm?
