Heroes
If you haven't heard, Heroes is a new show on NBC that chronicles the lives of ordinary people as they get special powers. It just ended a minute or so ago.
I think this show is going to become one of the big hits of this fall. I got chills at the end of the show, and I'm definitely going to keep watching this.
(There's going to be an encore tomorrow night for anyone who missed it.)

Gaaaaah. I just accidentally got addicted to this show. >_< I swore off it, and then I happened to switch to NBC after Prison Break...
Argh. I'm probably tuning in next week. Darn curiousity. This makes 3 hours of TV on Mondays unless I tune out- I have to wonder what I'll do when 24 comes back. Here's to hoping Heroes'll start sucking so I can get back to life. :P
Onto the show- the premise is imitation-Lost and cheesy, yes, but the Japanese dude (Hiro) totally got me laughing. Flying brothers don't interest me though, so there's some hope for me.

I think one of the things that makes this show seem really good is, unlike X-men, it shows their lives before they got their powers, and also what they did to cope with their new powers. It also shows a more human side of them.
The thing with the single mom, when she woke up on the bed and there was that, uh, scene in the bedroom, that really freaked me out. It's like Jekyll and Hyde.
The cheerleader is so cool though.
And the artist who can paint the future.

I enjoyed it enough. Reminded me of Surface somehow.
I LOVE the japanese teleporter, easily my favorite character. If this show makes it past the first season, I can see this getting very interesting later on down the line.

It comes on the same time as Vanished, so I was rather confused as to what I would be doing once Heroes premiered, but I'm defiantly sticking with Heroes. I understand the whole plot behind it unlike Vanished which is way too complicated.
Not to mention that distressed painter
I loved Hiro, though. He will defiantly be the comic relief in this show, most defiantly.

It aired already? I wanted to see it so but I had to do homework. Damnit!
Is there an encore anytime soon?
The encore is on right now, but it's halfway over.
I wanted to go online after the show last night and chat with the creators of Heroes, but I had too much homework. :\
And now I have something else to look forward to on Monday besides CSI:Miami.
Apparently every new show (at least in the beginning) they're having new people with different powers being introduced into the show.
