I got this hint from the Wheel of Wisdom:

Did you know... "Going to Coltzan's Shrine exactly 55 seconds past the minute gets you a Dubloon!"

Does this site actually have that hint? Either I didn't know, or I forgot the exact timing. Thought it was a nice reminder though :)

I've tried it for a couple months, and either my computer or reflexes are in such a state that I cannot physically send my request at 55, or that it's just bogus. I ended up with the same amount of dubloons I'd get going at any other time. *shrug*

I've never recieved a dubloon from Coltzan... :cry:

I've gotten a few dubloons from the Shrine. But I never really pay attention to the times I go. So I cant really verify it.

There can be a lag between your computer's time reading and the actual NST. I've gotten dubloons at 55 seconds, but I've also missed it.

I have gotten a dubloon numerous times at 55. PPT was where I first learned about it way back in 03.

Did you guys know that the Coltzan timer is like 13 hours? A friend and I found that out a few months ago.

I never tried to go at a specific time.. but I get intelligence and dubloons quite often (of course I get nothing the most often)

The best dubloon I've ever got was a 50 one.. I wonder if it goes higher?

its true. it does work. I clicked the button right at 55, and got a dubloon. I'll try again tomorrow, and let you know if I get the same result.

Then again, you could also get dubloons when its not 55 seconds past the minute...at least that's what I found...
