Facts

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Label: Warner Brothers // Videos: 33 // Latest Release: Stadium Arcadium (2006)
  • Controversy surrounded their first single off of their latest CD, because the beginning of Dani California was close to the beginning of a song by Bob Dylan.
  • Six of their songs have been featured in commercials for the X Games and the Super Bowl.
  • Their singles include "Tell Me Baby", "Dani California" and "Snow (Hey Oh)"

Bowling For Soup
Label: Sony BMG/Jive Records // Videos: 4 // Latest Release: The Great Burrito Extortion Case (2006)
  • Bowling For Soup has worked with famed produced Butch Walker, who's also famous for producing the works of Avril Lavinge, Pink and Family Force 5.
  • The group has won two awards from Radio Disney for "Silliest Band Name". The name is a reference to "Bowling for Dollars", a 1970s-era game show.

RHCP.

They're much more funner than Bowling for Soup. Although, didn't Bowling For Soup do a cover of Britney's "Hit Me Baby One More Time", which was fun.

I'm going to vote for neither this week. Bowling for Soup is nothing special - they sound like so many other bands. I've never really been a big on the Red Hot Chili Peppers either, so I don't want to vote for them. Maybe next time there will be a group worthy of my vote.

I like the RHCP. I don't know much about Bowling for Soup.. even if RHCP were up against someone else.. I would most definately still vote for them. I'm not all that fond of their newest album; I like more of their older stuff.. That and I have friends who resemble 3/4 of the bands members. I have two friends who could be twins of Flea and John.
