Something has happened!

The incessant mewing of a Mutant Kadoatie drives you completely mad, and you give its owner 5,000 Neopoints to take it away!

Although I have a new battledome opponent that I will never be able to defeat.... I am 5k out!!! How nice. That must be a Merry Christmas from Neopets.

Three times within one week once, while removing NP from my Till and heading 'straight' to the Bank. :roll:

Beat that.

Suffice to say I stopped zapping my main pet's petpet when it turned into a Mutant Kad, and happily named it "Starving." :evil:

Hey that's pretty cute. I haven't bothered going to the lab ray, I saved up so many NP's to paint my Bruce with a Baby Paint Brush, I am afriad of losing that

My feepit has proven to be a bit useless to when it comes to the battledome. I have been neglecting to level it up so maybe a trip to the lab ray would be good for it.

I bet the owner who got that 5K must be really happy. I usually keep everything in the bank, lol, but the one time i don't I lose a bunch.

Can someone confirm for me whether this one puts you into the negative or not? I don't think it does, but I want to double check (ie. you get it when you have 4000 NP out, and go -1000NP negative).

I am not sure, but I would guess that you can't get into the negatives Neopoints range. Chances are you won't get that event if you have below a certain amount of NP's. You would probably only run into that problem if you are carrying any significant amount of NP. (Five thousand or above

That Kad has put me in the negative once, but I have gotten that RE 8 times. EIGHT!

I think there was once a problem of this happening, but it was mentioned in an editorial they recoded a few things, and that only certain events like that would occur with the proper amount of NP (i.e. 5000 np). so as long as you never have 5k on hand, you will never need to worry about the Kadotie again.

i think it's very unfair of tnt.... not because 5k was taken, but because nothing else on the site has 'inflated'

for example... i "win" tombola and get 126 np, find 302 np in the sand at the shrine, 100 np on a floor, or 50 np and a baggus from the fruit machine.. i think you see where i'm going here

i just think that they need to consider the neo-economy that we "live" in.. lol... and tweak a few things

i understand that they can't just make everyone rich, but i think that they could make the possibility a little more realistic...

I usually keep about under 10k in hand, so it's wonder I haven't even recieved the Kadoatie yet. I haven't even gotten a visit from the Tax Beast, either. o.o
