One of my Neo resolutions is to be involved in more random acts of kindness. I actually want to spill it over into real life, as well, but I'm just rambling...

Today, I surfed around on the Neoboards and handed out a few items people were looking for on their quests (if I could swing it) and at the very least provided SSW for others.

I just got a nice little Glowing PP Bath from a user whose M.O. (according to their look-up) is to spot people being nice on the boards and then give a little something back.

Just wanted to say that this kind of user is what makes Neopets worthwhile for me. :) I think that's the true spirit behind why Neopets was started (aside from the whole "something for bored college kids to do" thing).

Neopian Philanthropists are da bomb. Xenu bless them, lol. 0:)

Actually I do have a Neo-goal. Once I hit 10 Million NP, I would like to find someone 'worthy' of gifting a nice wish list item to. So be good this 2007. ;)

I agree with you, and thats a cool resolution. I like to go into the Quest boards and help out in the languages where not many people help. I cant do the ones with completely different characters, but its not that hard to read Dutch or Spanish and understand what the person is questing for by the structure of their post.

I visit the boards a lot in general, and if I see a genuinely decent person being bullied for asking a 'dumb' question or something, I'll send them a neomail and an item to let them know that all Neopians arent horrible. If someone nice has a reasonable wishlist or collection in their siggy, I send things to them also. Its not hard to do, and people really are impressed and feel good that someone would do that for them.

I've been spending the past 1/2 hour I think, helping people with quests. Sending the items if its cheap enough, and the link if its not.

Two of the many people I've helped sent gifts. One sent a candy cane, the other a Eo codestone. And I got a lottery ticket in a random event :D

We need more giving, kind people in Neopia. Everyone's either just out for oneself or a pointless beggar with no desire to fix their situation. It's hard. D:

I love random acts of kindness. I also love sending little gifts to people who help me with faerie quests. :) It's nice having a spirit of fellowship.

You can't imagine how thrilled I was when someone randomly sent me some kind of 25np brightvale fruit from a kad-chat neoboard for no reason. :P

It was just.. I don't know. Unexpected. XD

I love Random Acts of Kindness! They make me happy! I'm saving up for the Adam Avatar. I try to help people out when I can, but I look forward to when I'm filthy rich with neopoints so I can help more people!
