and i would LOVE the kacheek butterfly one but it's head's too durn big! *grumble*
i like the animations that only have a LITTLE movement in them. the ones where it's bunnies bouncing off the walls make my head want to explode.

Haha, I've been thinking along those lines a lot!

I figured that they probably wouldn't release them on a Friday, incase something went wrong... cos it'd be hard to get staff in over the weekend to fix it. And Thursday might be a bit late in the week too, I guess.

O.K., maybe I just didn't notice this in the past, but has TNT become a little... um... OBSESSED with fun images recently? Yes, they're handy for webpages and sometimes cute, but they've given out a new batch every day this week! I'm all for new content, but is "fun images" really the category they need to focus on right now?

Has it always been this way or is this just a "fun images" kind of week?

I've been thinking the same thing. I've also been thinking it probably takes more time to do one of those than other stuff like...oh, I don't know...make a new shield?

Also, some people have a habit of putting a few dozen animated "fun" images in their shop or whatnot. Do we really need more to encourage them with?
