What's your nickname?

Out of curiosity, what's your real life nickname? My parents and some family members call my Kymmie ... but it's really strange when I hear other people such as their friends call me Kymmie.

Actually, I don't really have a nickname in real life... Some people try to call me Krys or Kryssie but that doesn't really work out too well as I don't like being called those things. @_@

Online however... I have so many nicknames (I like) that I can't count them all.

Well, when I was younger my parents (and other family members) used to call me JJ, which is short for John Joseph (my first and middle name). This was mainly because there's two other Johns in my family and it's confusing if someone just says "John".

One of my friends calls me Hatchetman (long story) however.

Some of my friends call me Riss or Rissa. My brother has called me "Miss" for as long as I can remember.

A very good friend calls me Star. But because he chose that nickname specifically for me, I would feel sort of funny if anyone else called me that. My daughter's nickname for me (at least to my face anyway) is "OH, MOM"--spoken in a loud voice and with just the right amount of disgust tossed in.

I avoid nicknames as much as possible - Cassandra is a very nice name, no need to ruin it by shortening it! (Interestingly, my mum chose my name partly because it has so many nicknames available to it - she hated that her name didn't. =P)

Alex, Sasha. Alex for everyone outside my family, Sasha for everyone in my family. Sasha=Russian nickname thing for people named Alexandra/Alexander. Or, at the very least, that's what my mother told me.

ONLINE, I'm Xandra, Alex, Xela... the list goes on.

Nicknames are generally stuff like Raz, Spaz, Razzy, The Rasmus etc.
