I think he read it as "bespeckled"...

I don't wear glasses, which is kind of surprising since the entire rest of my immediate family does.

Yep, I am! I am horrible about wearing my glasses though, because I always forget or lose them.

My newest pair keeps breaking... I think they need to cut the lenses again or something because it keeps making the screw break. =/

Anytime I don't have my contacts in and I'm not trying to sleep, I wear my glasses. Sometimes, I like to have other people look through my glasses because their immediate reaction is usually "Whoa, you're blind."

Yep, although usually I wear my contacts. But sometimes (right now, actually) I'll switch to my glasses for about a month, just to give my eyes a rest.

Yep. Probably will be for a long time, though they're not horribly off (I can read what I'm typing without really straining, but it's better not to.) Can't wear contacts cause of the way my eyes are - I'd lose 90% of my vision every time I blink, so the eye doctor told me it wasn't worth my bothering.
