Down for maintenance

I am looking at the red pteri, who is just crying his little eyes out. Appears that Neopets is down.

Affirmed. It's doing the same thing for me...maybe it is as the Meepit said...we are not prepared

I noticed things were going slow for a good 10 minutes before it went down. I'm trying to play dice-a-roo and this is annoying. I can't even remember the last time I saw our dear ol friend DFMPteri, so of course it's when I need lots of pageviews that it slows down and craps out.

I noticed neopets was really slow. I even restarted my computer because I thought it was my computer not neopets.

Hopefully it will come back soon.

I noticed that too. Really slow loading in the last few minutes before it went kaboom. I just hope that, once it comes back up, nothing has been lost to glitches. I don't mind the lag, I don't mind the DFM, but I do mind losing nps and items (like I seem to have a nasty habit of doing).

Same for me as well. =/

Looks like they have some games that have been put into the graveyard on there still (Volcano Run). It only confirms that Neopets is dead.

But this probably means neopets is uploading the plot or whatever it is..

I was just trying to save all the work I had done on a pet page when the lil red pteri showed up

Hopefully I wont have to redo my work.

I hope you didn't close that tab/window. If you have FireFox, you can click "back" and it'll (intentionally) preserve all your changes such that you can save them as a text file or such.

In future save it onto a notepad before you click. I do this with most things I do on neo that take a lot of writing/coding. =)
