For some reason I can't go anywhere on Neo because it won't load. Is anyone else having this problem?

A few sites seem to be incredibly slow for me too. I'm 56k too so I might aswell just leave it if it doesn't sort itself out soon. I wanted to do that bloody puzzle too... :x

For me, it feels like a general Internet problem. My access to this forum is even suffering from it - bouncing back and forth between a few seconds and sometimes 15 seconds or more... The Internet Storm Center noted some problems earlier, but they don't have anything right now.

Same thing for me Neopets appears to be down. they've must've done something wrong because we're not even getting a DFMPteri. I hope they resolve it quick. I'd like to think it was an advancement in the plot but with so much stuff that they need to fix it could be insignificant or them trying to bring the pound back. I guess we'll wait and see what happens.

Anyone want popcorn? :D

Here's a way to check if it's your connection (in some odd anomaly) or Neo...

Go to the start menu, then to run. run Cmd. type Ping http://www.any-working-website.com It will return some packets, then give you information, including the average time. Do the same thing with neo (ping http://www.neopets.com). Compare the averages. Right now neo is more than 3 times slower than Yahoo is.

Or... or you could just check a couple of different sites, and not be such a nerd. But. You know. I don't have anything better to do....

It's definately neo, I'm back on now and it had logged me out. Had me worried there! =x

Still incredibly slow though. Probably updating something or other... I wish they'd sort my aisha out. I can't play with the cusomisation on him still. =(

You're missing a third possibility: stuff is messed in in-between. For that, run traceroutes between yourself and a bunch of other sites to see exactly where the packets start dropping. (Note that some intermediate hops may refuse to respond to the pings.)

Hmmmn... PPT was really slow for me earlier, but it works fine now.

Neopets... it went down right as I got an alert from Tarla. Of course, I was on my laptop, so I wasn't signed in. *sigh* I really hate this system of not being able to be logged into more than one computer at a time. I miss the good ole days of always being logged in - either on my laptop or my desktop.
