How to offer 850K on Trading post??

#1 Post by WockyChocky »

I just tried to make an offer on an item in the TP. The wish list said "850K pure or 1m items". I tried offering the 850K, but the trading Post limit is apparently 800K.

How do I go about doing this?

Thanks....

I'm moving your post to Neopets Help since you are asking for assistance with something.

-----------------

As far as how to go about offering 850K...Offer 800K and then items worth 50K. Or send a Neomail to the person and ask them what items they might accept instead of NP since you can't offer the total amount.

Or perhaps you could ask them if you could become a Neofriend so that a Neofriend-only auction could take place. Then you could offer exactly 850K on the item.

Either bid 800k and an item worth 50k, or have them put it in the auctions for an hour.

Usually they say 'Neomail/ NM for offers', it means you can neomail them and say you're interested and make an offer. Then they'll either put it up for auction, so you can bid on it, or make you a neofriend first and then put it up for a private auction, so no one else can bid on it.

Thanks, everyone. I went to auction and found what I wanted.

I haven't bought anything that expensive before. I thought since the seller specified 850K pure AND the items/trade price, there might be a way to do it.

And now I understand the 'n/m offers' bit.
