Hey Britta! Welcome to PPT!

I'm a homeschooler who's about to head off to college. I've been studying independently off and on since I was 12, so it's a bit of a change for me. How long have you been homeschooled?

*gives you tasty chocolate* See you around the site! :)

Hi Britta and welcome to the PPT forums! You'll find quite a few of our members are home-schooled like yourself. What do you find to be the best and worst parts of home-schooling? I'm quite curious in the whole experience. Take a look around, find something you're interested in, and post away!

I sometimes wish I was homeschooled, because some of my teachers are awful, but then I couldn't meet all my friends. Welcome to the PPT Forums! :D

The thing about homeschooling is that while you don't have to deal with the kittens, you miss out on school scholarships. In any case, welcome to PPT.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

That is so cool that there are others homeschooled! I thought that I would be like the alien of the bunch.

Lets see..... the best part of homeschooling is that you are at home all the time, so if you are sick, or got to bed reeeeeaaaalllly late, you can sleep in a little and still make up for the time. The bad part about homeschooling is that my mom is the teacher, so she knows right when my grades are sucking. LOL , J/K, apart from Algebra, I do pretty good. :) Oh, also, not really having lotsa friends gets made up with the 100+ blog friends. :D

Thanks y'all for the gifts!!!!!
