I hardly ever use the boards!! I only use them if I have faerie quests. I have been on neopets for over 6 years and I have never had a warning or anything. Shouldn't they have given me a warming at least?? I really think this is unfair. And 2 days before the altador cup finals too!
I have already filled out the contact form. Does anyone know how long it will take to get a reply?
Did you ever post any swear words, bad links, bad images, or anything that may be deemed inappropriate? Keep contacting, or ask them about the specifics of why you were frozen.
The only think I ever posted was the names of the items I needed for faerie quests. I would usually just copy and paste it whenever I got a quest. And I havent had a quest for a while so I didnt post anything recently. The last few times I visited the boards was just to read the posts on the altador cup board but I didnt post anything.
Has anyone been frozen before? And how long did it take to get your account back?
I don't want to get your hopes up or anything, but don't expect a reply. Seriously. They don't really care if your account is frozen. I know this from experience. If you DO get a reply, it'll be a month or so probably. And consider yourself pretty lucky. Filling out the forms doesn't really do much but get you an automated reply saying WHY your account was frozen. I'm sorry you were frozen though. You're right, they should've given you a warning or something. But this is TNT we're talking about..

Well thats depressing. After 6 years of playing this is what I get. So unfair. They should check out the playing history of players before freezing people. Why would they think that after all this time of not breaking the rules that I would decide to post anything inappropriate on the boards? Just for the fun of it? Its not like I'm new on neopets or anything.
I really hate whats happening to neopets. Its not about the players anymore. Its all about the money.
You could try writing them a snail-mail letter, I've heard those are much more likely to be read/responded too. Or at least that's the way it used to be. Never tried it myself.

I'm not really saying don't try and get your account back, but I'm saying it's going to be tough doing it. I've been a member for 6 years too and I never got my account back. Let alone a reply after numerous forms and emails. Who knows why they decided to freeze you without checking your history. I'm guessing it's just because they could honestly care less.

I totally agree. The old players are leaving because of the lack of TNT efforts to keep their loyalty. Then TNT is trying to gain new members through all these ridiculous advertisements and trying to be more like other sites (Neovision?! What??). And now there's NeoCash?? I wouldn't be surprised if they added a blogging feature (that probably has to be paid for) in the future or something.
Don't worry, its not all doom and gloom. My account was hacked, then frozen last year, and after 2 weeks of emails (and a bit of a campaign to get the account reinstated from a few friends on here and in my guild (:hug: Games, Phoenix and everyone who helped me) I got my account back, minus the stolen items. But again, the people on PPT are really nice and helped as much as possible

Neopets was so much better before the neoboards came along. I really wish there was an option to block the neoboards so this kinda thing woulndn't happen to people that don't even use them.
I am very sorry to hear this, md0b. I hope that you can get your account back. It would seem a good idea to give long-time players a warning. It makes it scary for others to play when something like this can happen. Especially after working on an account for 6 years.
